24/6/2010 10:21 | Interesting that the share price is still up at the offer price. People must still think there is potential for a new bid. | sdavis
23/6/2010 10:31 | I apologise for the strong language......I was just slightly irked at the time. | humbagash
22/6/2010 21:09 | I wrote to the CEO Tony Eales and the tosspot didn't even have the courtesy to reply.Even though I pointed out that I own more shares than all the directors combined. | restassured
22/6/2010 18:11 | Or .to put it another way , " These small private investors come here ,buy a few shares and somehow think they own a share of the co . So lets make it clear for once and for all ,we the board own the co ,along with our main shareholders, and brokers .We decide what the share price is,and if we want to sell to whoever we want ,thats our right. Look up the small print. Now we gave you small shareholders a small profit ,take it and get lost ,before we decide to value the co at zero pence.....( we can you know!!)" The above may not apply here but generally its pretty close to reality when investing in shares ,in ANY co. Loyal, long term investing is for mugs !! | buenos aires
22/6/2010 10:34 | I think Vector is taking UK investors for a bunch of mugs and won't be able to believe it if they get away with this low price without even having to raise their offer. Champagne corks will be popping as this price will save them millions and would have been put in at a low level so they would have room to raise the offer price if needed. | gerdmuller
22/6/2010 10:08 | I imagine that is why Vector bought the shares. Morgan Stanley reckon there will be a massive upswing of M&A activity in the U.K over the next 12 months. Unfortunately we are mere mortals. | restassured
22/6/2010 10:02 | EPS for these is given as nearly 6p in a couple of years so these could easily be over 7p in 3 or 4 years from now. If by then sentiment in the market has recovered or the market is in a mini boom phase for a short period then they could easily try and sell them back to the market on a PE of 15. That would imply a IPO price of 105p for practically doing nothing which is not already anticipated. | gerdmuller
22/6/2010 09:50 | Did Vector buy £240 worth of shares yesterday? Is that so they can get a vote? KWL is now almost 5 weeks without any news. These takeovers in the UK are getting ridiculous and many good small companies will be taken over at very low prices due to lack of interest by investors and rules which make life very easy for the predator. The weak pound means that the UK is up for sale and again we will be losing out to predators who will only have to use multiple arbitrage as the economy recovers to make a fast buck. | gerdmuller
22/6/2010 08:57 | One can now vote online for the Special Resolutions through Capita Share Portal. So if you want to show your disgust to decisions made by directors : https://www.capitash | humbagash
21/6/2010 22:39 | Oh yes right on. | restassured
21/6/2010 21:52 | Like a casino ,the odds are stacked against the private individual investor. | buenos aires
21/6/2010 21:48 | Hmm meaning what exactly? | restassured
21/6/2010 21:47 | Stock Market rules are written by the market ,for the market, unfortunately learned this a bit late. So now you know what sort of "animal" you are dealing with ,and act accordingly ,just in case anyone is not aware. Thats the reason people cannot "buck" the market ,its the system in place ,in my opinion ,no different to trade unions . | buenos aires

21/6/2010 12:13 | Another big punter in TFC shares shows its hand: Centaurus Capital has disclosed today that last Friday it increased its long position in TFC and now has a 1.55% holding. Centaurus Capital states that as part of its event driven approach, it makes investments in equity and credit securities of companies that are undergoing significant corporate events or are experiencing other major changes, as well as "deep value investments" in securities that we believe are undervalued relative to their fundamental or intrinsic value, or which they expect to appreciate, should a particular event take place. | orange1
18/6/2010 14:06 | Put it this way ,they could keep one share and still have a vote. | restassured
