22/7/2015 18:51 | They do wilt on lack of news, stew. If I remember correctly the US lead time is predicted (by the company) to be long (couple of years?). Doesn't stop us fretting though! apad | apad
22/7/2015 17:37 | My guess is that lack of an early trading update probably significant and thus is presumed nothing special in the pipeline ! Tis at the bottom of the uptrend so maybe worth topping up with a reasonable stop.Problem l have is that l really like the company and the management!! | samenic
22/7/2015 11:11 | Not really sure robarnold. This share does this though. Last time it dropped, I thought it was due to the MPEC pilot in US not going well. They released a trading statement and it shot back up. Nothing I know of. Just best to sit tight and wait for news. LTBH for me. Best Stuart | stewy_18
21/7/2015 21:48 | Any thoughts on the current downward trend? Is it due to the General Election result, or the overhaul of Railtrack, or something else? | robarnold
15/4/2015 18:09 | Wingrove Problem is if youre out of the market for 10% of the time you miss 90% of the the price rise over time. That's a fact. That's too much of a risk for me with this high quality company so I'm better watching the ups and downs - and if the earnings continue to rise a sit grows then there will be more ups than downs. | buffetteer
15/4/2015 16:48 | I tend to disagree I have held this year for a number of years and made a lot of cash but if there is a market setback this share Will drop like a stone. I have taken profits a couple of times and will probably do so again before the outcome of the election. Which is a real worry to myself. I am and always will be a pessimist good luck to all those that hold | wingrove4
15/4/2015 09:02 | Steady as she goes. Liked this bit:- Since signing this agreement we are pleased to announce an additional two US Class 1 pilots for the adoption of our RCM technology (hardware and software) and hope to announce further progress in due course. The timing of adoption of RCM technology within large rail networks will vary by customer type and we are not anticipating a significant revenue contribution from the US in H2 this year. However, management believes seeding the US market with our technology at the earliest opportunity is the correct approach and that will lead to significant success in the fullness of time. We remain bullish about our prospects in North America and other overseas territories and are pleased with the appetite shown by potential new customers to pilot our technology. So TRCS performing well and that doesn't look like it will include much for MPEC sales in the US this year. One of my better investment decisions. I don't have to worry about this company . | stewy_18

21/3/2015 12:32 | TRACSIS are presenting at our next growth company seminar on April 21st, investors and potential shareholders may be interested in attending. More details and registration at... | sharesoc
11/3/2015 08:20 | Yes, probably nfs. It shot up on a tip so needed to come down a bit. Not sure we can expect too much in terms of US sales this year based on the podcast McArthur did with Paul Scott, but things looking good long term IMO. We haven't had much news since the finals, but the trading update tells me we are very much on track. Cash balance building up so I'd be hopeful of acquisition news, but they are very prudent so it maybe nothing is good value. LTBH for me. Best Stuart | stewy_18
05/3/2015 15:51 | surely the froth from the expectation ofmea USA sales has died down hence the share price retreats | nfs
05/3/2015 10:14 | 15 April results. I assume that the market makers are just reacting to profit taking. I can't find anything in the news that changes the position. apad | apad
05/3/2015 10:09 | Good update in the note on 3/2/15 and results due in April - incidentally, this seems a little slow for this type of company - but the drop looks to be due to very small share turnover - see Buffetteer note above. If it goes down much more, I would be tempted to increase my holding | huttonr
05/3/2015 09:43 | No volume that's why | buffetteer
05/3/2015 09:35 | EPS doubling every 3 years AISHAH since 2009. MPEC now being sold in America targeting a market many times the size of UK. No competitor and a big moat. That's why it commands a premium. What type of premium will depend on the progress of MPEC sales in AMS. It was possibly toppy at 450 pence, but if it is growing at 35% a year..... LTBH for me, but I was wondering if anyone knew the reason for the current dip? | stewy_18
05/3/2015 09:19 | L2 not looking great, want to dip my toe in here but could see 313 in time, I'm a buyer at that level. This has always been rich because of its quality/competitive edge and consistency, smart acquisitions ect ect , markets can stay irrational and all. | fruitninja84
05/3/2015 09:14 | What's the attraction here? 2015 fcst eps growth around 31% followed by just 5% in 2016. P/E of 21.27 falling to 20.26. PEGs of .66 followed by 4.06 for 2016. Does have around £10m cash and is debt-free though. | aishah
05/3/2015 09:07 | Don't like this one bit. Will have to wait for news but something seems to be up? Consistent downward pressure. | stewy_18
04/3/2015 15:36 | From a technical perspective I'd say that it is a result of share price breaking through the long term trend line and the support that exists at 365p, causing more downward pressure. But wtfdik. | macarre
04/3/2015 14:06 | Just some sells with a k behind them I think stewy. A month to the finals, no news…. apad | apad
04/3/2015 14:03 | Anyone know what is causing the drop? | stewy_18
04/3/2015 13:57 | I'd be happy with £3.10. | macarre
04/3/2015 12:41 | Give me these at £3 and I will be a happy chappy! One of my greatest mistakes in my investing career ever was selling these at 180p from my original buy:/ | fruitninja84
03/2/2015 13:17 | Lots of little O sales 'driving' the price down. rns uninteresting. Even a non-trader like saw the price as toppy. stewy, we casually reuse the word 'pilot' but it is at six sites. Seems a bit more than a pilot study to me, but the yankees will play hardball. So, I turn to worrying about the profitability of the US adventure, rather than worrying about it happening :-) Perhaps I should have jumped off the ledge on my wall of worry? apad | apad
03/2/2015 08:06 | Trading statement out today. Steady as she goes. Shareprice was a bit toppy so didn't expect a rise, in fact it came off a bit. Perhaps priced about right now. I will be patient here, as in two years time I think things will look even better as the American pilot turns into a full scale roll out. Very relaxed about the investment case here. | stewy_18 |
