I hope you do Timbo because I'm applying for about 45X. No guarantee the price won't be lower in the future but I doubt it. Not always the case that small investors get stuffed at the expense of the institutions. The IPO was 105p and most of my holding was bought for less than that. I don't think the company would be where it is now (or where it is going to be in the future) if it hadn't had the support of Miton, Octopus and Unicorn. I probably wouldn't have even heard of Trackwise if I hadn't seen that those companies were investing.

I've now submitted an application for my certifiated shares (postal application so no going back) for an 18X excess, I will be astonished if I get anything like the number requested, despite the reassuring words from the CFO at the Webinar.

The share price of CIIC (ARVL) is rapidly dropping off after the initial hype around the IPO...

in front of the heavily over subscribed Arrival IPO, potential key customer, this could be a good week

Rather than being panicked - I think the company has been taken aback by the potential.

The CEO is being diluted down to about 25%...but this is still a substantial holding in comparison to other listed companies.

I rather think the FD did a great job with the SCL deal but less so with this fundraise. The structure of this raise seems extremely fair to existing shareholders - we will see when the allocations are announced.

I think we need some experienced help at board level.

Having followed this board religiously since the launch and bought and sold but now back in, my impression is this company has panicked into getting enough cash to keep up with production. It may have gone public too early. I am long term.

Manufacturing of other printed circuit board products is being transferred to the Stevenage Circuits factory, which will leave the current premises for IHT production.

What many people don't realise is that a lot of the thickness of copper cable is to give the cable strength rather than electrical current carrying capacity. Using LSE:TWD's patented Improved Harness Technology (IHT) means that the strength is provided by the PCB rather than than cable. Result: Same current capacity with much reduced copper usage.

As copper prices are already heading to the moon, this copper saving aspect will become more and more important to EV manufacturers (as well as other manufacturers).

This is just one of the many reasons a major EV manufacturer has recently signed a £38 million deal with TWD.

Nice to see some normality return to this board...and a slight rise in the share price too.

SCE great comparison with TWD...they share some shrewd investors also.

I'm in both but happen to think the potential for TWD is far greater...many more markets open here...

Good luck everyone with your excess entitlements.

indeed Toffeeman

Both Trackwise and Surface transforms seem to be in a sweet spot with the unstoppable march towards EVs.

None of the EV manufacturers are able to manufacture light weight wiring looms and light weight ceramic carbon brakes, so they have to buy in. In SCE's case they form part of a Duopoly and in Trackwise's case a Monopoly

precisely which is why SCE are alive and finally kicking!

(Merc use Brembo as options on their v high performance cars, but they signed up with SCE for the C class)

your comment

"Also, if anyone thinks for one minute that Arrival don't have another supplier / option lined up for circuit boards in the event that Trackwise don't deliver then they need to give their head a shake!"

my comment

They might have other suppliers, but if they do they are likely to be heavier/inferior products.

Also it is not unprecedented that the large car manufacturers only have one supplier for a critical part

Who has been supplying the carbon ceramic disc brakes for Ferrari, Porche, Mercedes etc for the last few years?

There was (until very recently) only one supplier and that was Brembo.

Hopefully the share price is bottoming-out now, though I guess we won't know until we pass 10-Dec when the Sub & open offer shares are made available to trade...

In the meantime I have created an Arrival thread if anyone wishes to discuss its prospects on there -
