27/8/2024 09:01 | I don't know if significant or not but Rose Street Partners, a new private equity fund has recently acquired Fuelsoft, the UK market leader in fuel delivery software. They may want to bulk up the business with bolt-on acquisitions. Who knows? | kinwah
15/8/2024 13:23 | Albeit contracts seem to be kicking in, where's the buy backs?. Clearly no orders being placed or mm's would take stock! | cocker
14/8/2024 13:37 | Ta for the reminder. I suppose mid-September could still mean 9th September at a bit of a stretch! | rivaldo

14/8/2024 13:02 | It seems unlikely that TST would arrange a Mello presentation for before the reults are out. Unless you know better for certain! | rivaldo

14/8/2024 09:12 | Just to mention that they are presenting on the first Mello show in September so I am sure they plan to get the results out before Monday 9th September | davidosh
14/8/2024 09:02 | Last year's interims were on 7th September, so not long to wait now. At the AGM the Board said they were "comfortable with market expectations". The current forecasts are for: - 10.0p EPS this year, rising to 11.5p EPS next year - £3.1m net cash, rising to £3.5m net cash - recurring revenues above 40% £3.1m cash represents almost 40% of the £8.1m m/cap. That's a current year P/E of only 9.9 at 99p - if you strip out the cash pile that's an ex-cash P/E of just 6.1. | rivaldo
13/8/2024 13:22 | Indeed - the upgrade represents a major vote of confidence from a large customer for a 114 vehicle fleet. And it's further proof of the significant work which TST said would come following Microsoft’s decision to ‘end of life’ it’s Windows CE platform: Extracts: "Touchstar client FTL make a further significant investment in ‘Fuelstar&rsqu 12 August 2024 FTL – Major system upgrade to enhance delivery operation and boost customer satisfaction" "The new solution includes a new in-cab driver application, FuelStar, the ATEX rated Android device on which it runs (TS3300) and FuelStar Back Office, which sits between the mobile FuelStar Application and the existing planning and scheduling tool." | rivaldo
13/8/2024 11:46 | FTL make significant upgrade in fuelstar system. This one looks quite chunky and surprised no rns with it. Looks as if things are really picking up | cocker
07/8/2024 10:22 | I think the public services agreement opens the door to a whole load of work that hopefully we will reap huge rewards from. | cocker
07/8/2024 08:43 | Great to see those two big pieces of news whilst I was on hols. The selection of TST as Carr's Billington's "preferred supplier for mobile digital solutions" should be a biggie for TST given that Carr's divisions and "wide network of depots" "are located across the country from Brecon in Wales to Oban in Scotland". And it should benefit this H2 onwards from the sound of this: "We’re extremely excited to commence active use of the hardware and software and to start to accrue the numerous operational benefits.” Plus there must be huge potential for the Fire and Security division following their appointment to Crown Commercial Service’s Facilities Management and Workplace Services agreement: "The addition of TouchStar ATC to the CCS procurement framework will see them support public sector organisations with the provision of Fire and Security Systems including Access Control, CCTV, Fire and Intruder. Crown Commercial Service supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2022/23, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £3.8 billion - supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers. Lynden Jones, Managing Director at TouchStar ATC said: " "We are delighted to have been named as a supplier on the CCS procurement agreement. Our position on the agreement enables us to offer end-to-end public sector fire and security systems, from specification and project management through to implementation and support. With an approved partner network, we provide national coverage with localized support, building long-term relationships with our end-users in the public sector and further solidifying our reputation for first-class service and support in the sector." | rivaldo
06/8/2024 11:57 | Am guessing but looks like they are on a pre qualified list to supply in the category fire and security solutions into the public sector. This is likely to be a precursor to being able to bid for specific tenders issued by public sector departments should they arise. For a small company to have persevered to that stage is a plus. You then have to find a tender to bid against Of course they could already have something they wish to bid for. If you bid you have to get through a number of gates before you are awarded anything. It can be costly(risky)to bid If they are in a catalogue and their services can be drawn down by the user department that would be an alternative less risky route | s2lowner1
06/8/2024 11:31 | Maybe massive news, a deal with crown commercial who are an agency with the cabinet office. Whether this is part of the new process of being able to quote for government work, I don't know. | cocker

04/7/2024 12:44 | To summarise, at the AGM the Board said they were "comfortable with market expectations". The current recently increased forecasts are for: - 10.0p EPS this year, rising to 11.5p EPS next year - £3.1m net cash, rising to £3.5m net cash - recurring revenues above 40% £3.1m represents almost 40% of the £7.9m m/cap. That's a current year P/E of only 9.65 at 96.5p - if you strip out the cash pile that's an ex-cash P/E of 5.9. | rivaldo
28/6/2024 08:26 | More good news - and Curveball Leisure are a good-sized operator, with £97.8m turnover last year (up from £52.7m the previous year): Extracts: "Rugged Mobile Computers: Curveball Leisure Chooses TouchStar and Zebra TC21 for Warehouse Efficiency 27 June 2024 TouchStar Technologies, a leading provider of rugged mobile computer solutions based in the UK, is delighted to announce the addition of Curveball Leisure to their customer portfolio. Curveball, a worldwide distributor of video games and consumer electronics, has selected TouchStar for a technology rollout of the latest rugged handheld devices to support real-time efficiencies and accuracy within their picking and put-away processes." "Richard Pearce, Operations and Supply Manager at Curveball Leisure, comments, “Having used RF technology within a previous company, I knew the benefits that this would offer to Curveball in terms of further process improvements. Removal of paper, transparency, and increasing picking speeds were just a few areas we were looking to improve. Having worked with TouchStar in the past, I knew they would provide the expertise in the device specification process and be able to assist us with the right level of support to ensure a smooth rollout of the final proposed solution." | rivaldo
27/6/2024 13:49 | Interesting trade just now of 218,000 shares at 96p - about 2.6% of the entire share capital. Perhaps the clearance of an overhang, and/or maybe a large share buyback? Let's see if we get any RNS's in the next few days. | rivaldo
27/6/2024 13:26 | Good news - here's the link: Extracts: "ATF - further upgrades to Fuelstar Android fuel delivery system 26 June 2024" "The solution Initially starting with a small number of mobile computers on the ground fuel side of the business, ATF Fuels were able to trial the FuelStar software and validate its effectiveness for their operation. Now, every vehicle in their fleet uses TouchStar technology as an integral part of their delivery processes. Orders and schedules are automatically uploaded from the back office to the drivers’ tablets through TouchStar technology, and the admin staff at the office receive automatic updates as each driver progresses through their deliveries. As well as seamless communication and complete transparency, this system allows ATF to be more agile in their customer servicing. If, for example, a customer needs an urgent delivery, office staff can see exactly how much fuel each vehicle has and reallocate resources as necessary to meet a critical request. ATF Fuels initially implemented the Android software throughout their aviation fuel fleet ahead of rolling it out to their other vehicles which still used the older Microsoft technology. While there was a straight plug-and-play approach to installing the Microsoft software, ATF Fuels required a level of customisation in the Android technology to allow their drivers to create jobs on the go, which was of course provided by Touchstar as part of the installation. After many years of operating successfully with the original Android in-cab devices, ATF have recently commissioned a technology refresh and replaced the old devices with the latest generation Touchstar TS3300 model, supplemented with Zebra ZQ-521 thermal receipt printers. On the new Android hardware, Neil said “the system does everything the team needs it to do – it’s a solid piece of kit and works well. Everyone seems happy with the latest update.” ATF Fuels opted for a solution from TouchStar because they knew they had “a tried and tested system that is well-used within the industry” as well as a reputation of plug and play, so they knew they could get their fleet upgraded with the new hardware very quickly." | rivaldo |
