Perhaps they are continuing, but as soon as they start to buy the price goes up, it's not so easy.

on 11 September 2023, pursuant to the authority approved by shareholders at the Company's Annual General Meeting held on 22 April 2023, the Company purchased 25,000 ordinary shares of 5 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 98.9 pence per share (the "Transaction").

So why have they not continued with buybacks as the share price is now 12% lower and they will get more shares for the same outlay and give us long term holders more of the company to ourselves with better metrics and higher yield going forward ??

But why is the share price collapsing?

Well its a very well run company that should reward investors sooner or later. Trouble is buy back program a farce when one can barely sell 1k or buy 1k at a time which puts off small pi's.

All sounds pretty impressive, unlike the share buyback programme.

the TS8200 is equipped with a remarkable near far scanning range, spanning from an astonishing 2.2 inches (5.6 cm) to a range of over 40 feet (12.2 meters).

..from 2.2 inches to over 40 feet !
That's impressive !

Product upgrade news -sounds good:

"the ideal rugged handheld device to take warehouse and logistics operations up a gear"

Incidentally, materiality in terms of contracts is normally 10% of turnover etc, so a large hurdle to cross for RNS disclosure - but if a contract if less than that but has significance in terms of the importance of the client or in terms of strategy or geography for example, then a PLC can issue an RNSNON on the Reach service.

from recent contract, I thought this was impressive

"To further enhance the efficiency, via a click of a button, jobs are automatically allocated vehicles in the most efficient order ..."

If not material to results then no RNS is allowed. But a non-RNS info release can happen to the stk mkt.

'material' is I think defined as 20% but I might be wrong.

Because their value alone is not high enough to impact revenue, is my educated guess. However, it seems the in flow of them will underpin the company going forward.

Why are these contracts never released as a RNS on the LSE?

But perhaps also an element of excitement, no ?

A small acquisition in USA, Brazil, Europe, Asia, of a company with sales outlets for TST type products; that would be exciting imo, for example. While yes, if it was for £2.5 million the acquired company would surely not be very big.

it is not surprising to see a little weakness on these results after TST's good run this year but the results look satisfactory to me.
It does look as if some of the £2.5 million cash may be spent on an acquisition soon. This prospect introduces an element of uncertainty as does Mr Martin's intention to retire.

Trade payables normally does "not" imo comprise movement in trade creditors

But

Is a report of the trade creditors !!..as the line entry says !!!

You have to compare with what it was previously if you want to know the movement/change in that amount.

(Your point about 860k versus 60k might be correct; I haven't looked, ..since the numbers looked good to me)

Cash flow statement doesn't add up (literally).

Trade & other payables line should be (860) not (60) and comprises movement in trade creditors and contract liabilities.

Big seasonality in cash flows.

Decent results, but feel as if I wanted more. Share buy back at todays share price leaves around only 75,000 shares to be bought this year now.
