21/6/2023 07:15 | Today's RNS confirms both dividends and buybacks..... Three pieces of good news: - confirmation that "Trading conditions and trends remain positive and are consistent with market expectations" - the commencement of dividends. The 1p interim suggests an overall 3p dividend for the year at the usual interim/finals proportions - £300,000 of share buybacks, which will help to take out any sellers out there (Chelverton?). Of course it's possible that TST could then re-sell the shares in blocks to other institutional buyers, thus improving liquidity and perhaps netting a nice little profit in the meantime. | rivaldo
16/6/2023 17:32 | Well from what I gather and what has come from within, expansion into some European countries with fuelserve is highly on the agenda. Hopefully Monday or early next week we shall have an rns with regards to cash distribution and possible buy backs, not that they often create shareholder value and certainly would make buying and selling in small amounts hard, let alone what i have accumulated. | cocker
16/6/2023 14:09 | ..is there any mention or hint of Tucan rolling out anything of TST to other countries where they operate ?? | smithie6
14/6/2023 15:19 | Agreed. It seems straightforward to me from the narrative that TST have added "feature requests (from Tican) that they had not encountered before" to a system which was already in use. | rivaldo
14/6/2023 10:16 | Maybe they have added podstar features to their existing system as I can't see TST putting out this in their news section otherwise. | cocker
13/6/2023 21:43 | Unfortunately agree Smithy. | cocker
13/6/2023 16:37 | "We have now been using the system for a number of years....." is this 'news' in reality not news at all & is actually old 'news' ?!! a bit cheeky to issue it as 'news', no ??! | smithie6
13/6/2023 09:43 | Cheers, here's a link: Given TST's overseas expansion I wonder if this may lead to further substantial business? "Tican Chilled are part of the Tönnies Group a family owned company that has its head office in Germany. Tönnies operates a highly diversified international food business and is active around the world with its eight divisions of Meat Pork, Meat Beef, Convenience, Sausages, Ingredients, Logistics, International and Central Services." "The work that Touchstar has done for Tican has been fantastic. We presented them with some feature requests that they had not encountered before but they came up with viable solutions to ensure the use of Podstar was as simple as possible for all concerned. The proof of delivery system immediately reduced our paper usage by at least 70 per cent. The PODStar mobile app is very easy to use with very minimal driver training on the handhelds required. I have rolled the system out to all my drivers with very minimal disruption to our operation and I would highly recommend the PODStar solution to anyone looking to move away from a paper-based delivery system." | rivaldo
12/6/2023 14:03 | Tican chilled foods select pod star. Another contract win with a half decent sized company! | cocker
12/6/2023 13:05 | Given the company has had months to decide the fate of the cash, its possibly poor PR to release the court judgement (unless of course its in the public domain). Having said that, the management can be trusted and i guess either again possibly waiting on news of some sort of acquisition or TU for the end of this month. However, all said and done a ruby in a mountain of rocks here on AIM | cocker
06/6/2023 14:53 | been a good day today I think the official price to sell has risen from 95p to 110p & official price to buy is now 120p. :-)) (SYMM ! je je) | smithie6
06/6/2023 13:51 | Indeed - and the spread is down to a mere 5p (for the moment anyway, unless the MMs react again to that buy at 119p). | rivaldo
06/6/2023 13:46 | 4193 shares bt at 119p ! now 110p to sell, as official price buyers forcing up the price today. | smithie6
06/6/2023 13:41 | ooooh 5000 bt @ 112p ----- test of mkt price to sell 102.6p the spread is too big but I guess the MM wants a big spread to try to stop any more buys, to allow some time to get some sell trades thru to balance his books, since a number of buy trades have gone thru today. | smithie6
06/6/2023 13:40 | sizeable/solid trades for TST, imo | smithie6
06/6/2023 12:33 | Price action today alone feels as if news is imminent! | cocker
06/6/2023 12:03 | Good to see new multi-year highs now, and a smaller 10p spread. Given the £3.5m and rising cash pile it is possible that TST could both declare a dividend and initiate buybacks as you say. However, TST have also now declared an increased interest in acquisitions, and they're also expanding internationally. So at this stage all options are on the table! | rivaldo
06/6/2023 09:46 | the process for legal authorisation & registration for/of capital reduction must be about completed now, if not completed already in May. Do we expect a share submission buy back offer, compulsory buy back offer, or phps a buy back in the mkt .....a special divi ? (I'd quite like a special divi, 10p ?, be interesting to see what takes place) | smithie6
01/6/2023 10:28 | Excellent new article on TST from AIM Prospector - free to download. A £15.6m m/cap would give 90% upside from here: Conclusion: "Before post-COVID interest rate hikes, when sentiment was elevated, software companies were typically valued at three times recurring revenues plus non-recurring income. To that we can add net cash. Using the most recent full year figures, gives a rule-of-thumb valuation of £15.6m. While Touchstar isn't an outright software play, it is growing, suggesting my quick appraisal isn't outlandish." | rivaldo
24/5/2023 12:45 | The 50 million dollar question is why when they are about to get a possible divi, a share buyback that will enhance value to existing shareholders and more importantly, the business is booming on all fronts. Sell the laggers and let the winners run is the secret ti good investments. | cocker
24/5/2023 12:16 | Chelverton have reduced in recent weeks at another share going below 5% at EQLS ------- but if Chelverton has an investor reducing their holding in the Ch. fund then it wld be logical for Ch. to reduce its holdings in shares in order to pay that investor. I think ! | smithie6 |
