08/11/2022 07:12 | Very impressive win this. | hastings
08/11/2022 07:10 | This is the first 'significant' contract I can remember. There's a good chance there will be more to come in the future, especially if they expand into new global territories. This has to be the start of a re rate of a valuation re rate. Great news | elited10
08/11/2022 07:09 | Big contract win for this £6.4m m/cap company - £1.5m over the next year, plus multiyear recurring income subsequently. Nice closing comment too about "the uptick in activity we have seen in the Petrochemical Distribution sector", with a hint of further contract awards to come: | rivaldo
01/11/2022 21:26 | Another contract for TST today on their web site. | cocker
03/10/2022 14:09 | Great article, thanks. A few rather interesting snippets: "We’ve been ballistically busy with projects for the first half of the year. As companies have emerged from the covid crisis, they’ve decided they’re now ready to look at the things they put on the shelf. As a result, we’ve been signing up new customers such as BATA, Par Petroleum and Alan Stobart (part of WCF group), and Rix has also committed to a big upgrade project with us." "What are the key areas of focus for TouchStar at present? There are two big areas at the moment. The first is completing android migrations for our current customers, and this is moving at pace. The second is expanding our customer base to Europe, the States and South Africa." "We also have another burgeoning partnership with Leighton O’Brien, a wet stock management company, which is based in Australia but also covers the whole of the Asia Pacific region and the States. They’re very excited about what we do as all their retail customers in the States use paper-based systems with very little visibility, mostly via third party logistics companies." "How was the UKIFDA EXPO for you? Absolutely fantastic. The best exhibition we’ve been to in 25 years! Our feet didn’t touch the floor. We had four people on the stand and every time we turned around there was someone new to talk to, whether that was a customer or a prospect...and deals have moved along significantly as a result of it." | rivaldo
03/10/2022 11:45 | A big write up on web site aboit fuel distribution software headed "world domination", lets hope so! | cocker
20/9/2022 14:17 | Unfortunately I had to miss most of the TST video presentation just now for various reasons, so will have to watch whenever it becomes available. I did catch one nice snippet - TST are in conversations with companies in the USA and Europe about sales and partnerships where TST would supply via other companies, i.e riding on their coat tails and not having to spend much to do so. The presentation slides themselves are pretty encouraging: "Significant opportunities in roll-out of the system over next 6-18 months" "Pipeline strong and roll outs underway" "New client projects in the pipeline" "Overall message comfortable with expectations" "Petrochemical Sector to remain buoyant" | rivaldo
15/9/2022 15:21 | An excellent set of figures. "Whilst as a Group we are moving into offering more software solutions, hardware still plays an effective part in the success of the Group." Software is where the profit is and where the bulk of the recurring income comes from. This is the reason that the revenue increase is small(ish)and all the other figures show a greater increase. Very happy to hold. | pavey ark
15/9/2022 09:37 | WH Ireland have issued a 20 page update note: - they have a 120p target - they forecast 5.5p EPS this year, rising to 6.7p EPS and then 8.4p EPS - they forecast a £2.4m cash pile at the year end - almost 40% of the m/cap That's an EV/EBITDA of just 3.2. | rivaldo
15/9/2022 08:51 | I'm very satisfied - the company is on an upward path, the ex-cash P/E is very good value, the order books are rising, there are new products being introduced and the outlook is optimistic. Any dividend at this stage is neither here nor there for me as it would be small beer. I would rather TST retain its cash to push for innovation and growth and perhaps even take advantage of acquisition/asset opportunities which may well present themselves in the current climate. | rivaldo
15/9/2022 08:02 | Although results were basically know from the recent TU, as a long term holder I was hoping for a higher T/O given that inflation is what it is. Dangling the carrot of possible returns in 2023 when most of us were hoping for something this year, also leaves a lot to be deisired. Having said that a debt free cash rich Aim listed company that actually makes a profit is pretty rare these days. | cocker
15/9/2022 07:44 | Positive results but need to see further progress to justify higher market cap. May spike to 80p and then lose steam over coming weeks. Next trading update around Jan 23. | dolittle1
15/9/2022 07:35 | Good H1 numbers. £1.6m and rising cash against a £6m m/cap, almost 2p EPS in the seasonally weaker H1, sizeable and rising recurring income, increasing order books, optimism for the future... This business is steadily being transformed for the better. | rivaldo
14/9/2022 14:37 | No - the date came from WH Ireland to me too. I've emailed them to find out what's happening. I assume they'll be tomorrow morning now. EDIT - I gather they will be out tomorrow (Thursday). | rivaldo
14/9/2022 10:17 | Have the company given a results date in an RNS or via the website? | davidosh
14/9/2022 08:28 | Having received an email from the broker stating results due today, one would expect to see them. Surely it can't be that hard to announce when 2 weeks prior | cocker
13/9/2022 15:57 | I always thought there was a big market opening up here. With working from home and irregular office visits I would have thought companies needed a tighter record of who is in the building and when. | pavey ark
13/9/2022 09:48 | Yep, good to see the security systems side winning new business: | rivaldo
12/9/2022 19:12 | A new contract for access control and cctv added today. A bit like shuttle buses, they come in two's | cocker
08/9/2022 20:56 | Par petroleum contract announced today! | cocker
30/8/2022 14:26 | WH Ireland are organising an Investor Roadshow for TST with a series of presentations for investors following the interims, which are apprently being issued on Wednesday September 14th. | rivaldo
12/8/2022 10:10 | RNS - Robert and Virginia Millington have been buying and increased their stake to 4.19%, or 355,000 shares: They appear to run this Private Asset Management company: "Founded by Robert and Virginia Millington, Constance is an unincorporated association of investment professionals based principally in the UK and Spain. Constance does not charge fees, members’ input is in the form of intellectual capital and the contribution to aggregate portfolio returns. Portfolios are managed individually. Constance has developed particular expertise in UK smaller capitalisation companies (<£100mn) quoted principally on the London Alternative Investment Market (AIM) and Venture Capital Trusts, but invests in equities worldwide and across the full market capitalisation spectrum. Constance also uses commodities, indexed linked bonds, peer to peer (P2P) loans and other alternative instruments to spread investment risk." | rivaldo
29/7/2022 10:18 | Yep, more good news - this new contract will benefit this H2 as it's due to roll out from September: | rivaldo |
