I have been trying to buy a few more shares recently and saw that about 2500 had been sold this morning at 76.5p. So I put in an order for 5000 but had to pay 85p ! I am in effect bidding against myself.
Whether this proves wise remains to be seen; there seem to be few sellers about.

The recent trading update indicated that the results for 2021 would be announced in the last week of this month. So the auditors are not late yet !

The business is doing rather well and is being run at a decent profit by all accounts, this coupled with excellent offerings and strategic tie ups like the other day without asking for finance to do so. So if they can pay a decent divi once a year let's have it. With regards to the current cash pile, either distribute it or find another way for it to increase assets of the company, even if it means to diversify.

I agree with Rivaldo on this, Id rather they reinvest at this stage in their business , than give us the money. Varies mentions a 1p would be a 1/3 rd of profits which is way too high for me. If they didn't have an expectation of good growth and were a dull steady co then sure, but thats not IMHO what we have here.

Im afraid co can't pay based on our circumstances as shareholders or what we paid for a share. It has to be down to the business only.

Patience is required in these small caps. You just have to hang on.......

Personally I'd much rather the £2.5m+ cash pile was spent on growth, both organic and via acquisition.

I'm confident in IM's abilities, and from this tiny m/cap TST could become a multi-bagger given sensible expenditure. Much better than receiving the occasional relatively small dividend imo.

I understand that income investors would obviously prefer divis, and there are are also institutional investors who can only invest in dividend-paying companies - but I'd assume that those few small cap funds still around who invest in microcaps are not investing for dividends!

As I understood it last time the plans were to distribute cash I think under capital restructuring method or something like that. Basically the company has to much cash and if they do it in this way I'm led to believe we don't pay tax when paid to us, but obviously in our returns it will be if you are a tax payer

PS. I see that profits before tax for the year 2020 came to £87,000 and are now expected to be 200% higher for 2021.
There is presumably little tax to pay, if any, and so a dividend of 1p would amount to about 1/3rd of net profits.

Might we perhaps receive another dividend soon ? When still called Belgravium this company paid dividends for many years. I bought my first BVM shares in 2014 at about 5p (equivalent to 80p for TST) and dividends stopped soon afterwards.
I suppose that I should be glad that the share price has at long last recovered in nominal terms to what I paid but this has proved a poor selection.
A dividend for 2021 of 1p would cost about £86,000 and give us hope for more in 2022.

Yep, looking forward to Monday's results, and in particular the outlook given this from the "above market expectations" year end update:

"Current Trading and Outlook for 2022

The Board has given a consistent message that it would be 2022 when the underlying growth rate in all the Group's businesses harmonise. The Board believes that:

o the prospects for the Group appear more positive and more certain than for a long time;
o the rate of growth in revenue and EBITDA will accelerate in 2022 driving further substantial improvement in financial performance;
o the growth in SaaS revenues is likely to outpace the Company's overall growth rate will the aim for recurring revenue moving towards 40% of total revenue by the end of FY22: and
o recent and continuing supply chain constraints appear manageable."

Well 40% cash and 40% recurring revenue does make the position here look rather robust.....bombproof !!??....perhaps not but close.

Rivaldo, another 15,000 were bought yesterday before the close at just under 75p. At least it shows there is some support for the shares.

What, you ecpected them to write a piece which doesn't commend themselves and put it on their website?

A case study up on Web from PD Foods. I don't think it's a new contract but certainly the piece commends TST. They certainly make a decent profit and mention that TST gear has paid for its self, so bodes well to other perspective customers.
