Exxon 16/11/21
It is also poised to drill 24 wells across the Kaieteur and Canje blocks which border the Stabroek concession.
Additionally, EEPGL said there are three other oil and gas operators that are planning exploration programmes in blocks adjacent to the Stabroek Block.

Good news, if they farm down for a free carry, we might see Orinduik drilled next year by a new operator.

Just news from canje can stop the stock fall to 15 price , ordoiunk is low value asset (ask total and tullow that hold the operations their few years).
Hope canje will continue and don't doomed

rpGuy,

Thanks for your interesting post. Let me give you a recommendation:- continue to hold or buy as ECO will head northwards sooner or later.

The assets are good, it's just a matter of drilling!!

Eco don't HV nothing near future.
Eco worth 60 million dollars
Ordoiunk bad block without activity last year's because nobody wanna to drill this block
Canje failed eco hv just 1% in canje it's nothing.
Namibia eco don't HV a partners to drill
The worth of the company should be 40 million dollars 15 price

ECO isn’t turning any corners that I can see - or when it does there’s another one ahead! Typical Malcy froth with no substance. I just hope our largest investor remains a friend and doesn’t decide to make an offer out of the blue.

Taken from Malcy….
“Exasperating as it must have been in the last year or so in Orinduik it looks like it may be turning the corner there and of course there are opportunities in Namibia as well. The former may be made better by the Fangtooth well and the latter by Graf and Venus, all to be spudded this year. Free of Tullow and with a number of really sizeable opportunities the upside is getting closer at long last for Eco and todays mark-down on a well with little direct interest to them is surely a cracking buying opportunity.”

RNS out.

It reads like an encouraging update from Eco.

Reading between the lines the drill results from the Sapote drill have negatives (no commercial oil in that particular drill site) and positives (proof of significant oil in the basin at deeper levels). Eco only have an approx 1% interest in Sapote.

Eco's potentially most lucrative asset is Orinduik where Tullow is the main operator and I sense from reading the report some frustration with the pace of decision making at Tullow.

The market could take it either way, as always, but Eco seem in very good shape financially with lots of upcoming catalysts.

Eco own approx 7% of JHI which in turn owns approx 17.5% of Sapote 1.

In other words ECO have approximately a 1% interest in Sapote 1 so it should not have a material impact on the share price, except for sentiment of course.

The three dusters at Canje make the Orinduik block look even more valuable…when Tlw are eventually replaced.
