Relieved to see todays positive test results. Bodes well for the Cas production wells to come and further delineation drilling into Rio. Increases to booked reserves sure to follow. Always good to be offsetting current production rather than continuously draining the tank.

I think a steak and a Guinness supper tonight 🙂

Tick tock

Best wishes all

I personally wouldny have bothered drilling Royston until Casca up and running and would have been lobbying government for a delay about that ages ago but, this is the path that we chose to follow and I can understand that logic as well, of course!

S93, hi I'm happy that there are productive hcs at this time at that location.
I have no idea how long they may continue (memories of Rosyton) but regardless of "offload and transportion" of product if it can be continued and more optimal locations drilled it's not a bad position to be in?
I am hoping of course the gas production capacity can be filled elsewhere so also am less "concerned" about that but yes get your point re investment in IS capacity, they must be "confident" (which is something Gonzo does not lack of course!).
Re "flatlining" (ahem) completely agree, I can see flattening based upon what has been provided by company to date but am not 100% convinced yet.
Kaos, I love your optimism re Cretaceous!!
As ever all IMHO, DYOR.
S93 hope to find some time to catch up sincere apologies just bloody rushing off to clear up another mess.

Dunders - if a gas well is only producing 1.9 MMscf/d when you've upgraded facilities to 140 MMscf/d, then yes, the gas investment looks curious in hindsight. But the oil is more valuable, and based on other Ortoire wells, they wouldn't have known what the formation liquids were for sure until it slapped them in the face, sorry, that was muscle-memory Ortoire typing, ;-)... they wouldn't have know for sure until they tested.

kaos - I'd like the line to flatten out too. :-( Maybe as these wells have been drilled, completed and operated with the knowledge of the dual porosity system, the decline may be more managed

go to page 15 and do your non linear interpretation of herrera production profile chart, please

Q3 production looks to be similar to Q2 volume wise, financials probably lower due to lower $/barrel.

Q4 number should be better still.

what worries me is gas decline trajectory .... from the last presentation it still looks linear decline to me. more or less. I expected the gradient of decline not to be constant after all this time

The results look "promising".
Makes their forecast production profiles for 2024, seem a tad optimistic of course, no surprise there.
Let's hope 3st-1 is the start of what we have always hoped?
Best of luck all.

WEEKLY CHART

I don't know.....I just don't know........its still in the RANGE....JUST......but would have like to see it blasting through the top of the range.

Problem......it never got out of the range....and pulled back.

However...what we can can say......its a nice UP bar.....ON VOLUME.

Note: Its a complete fake and stupid chart.......25 weeks in a tight range.....someone is having a laugh.

===========================

DAILY CHART

Looks better.....RSI gone from 30 odd to 64.

Volume building throughout the week......so, some punter is buying.....a good sign.......whoever was holding the range.......are they now going for an share price increase????......this would be a good sign.

The 50 DayMA has crossed over the 100 DayMA.......and the share price has blasted through both the 50 and 100 DayMAs.....and held.....on good volume.

We are half way to the 200 DayMA.

Small gap down at 30.75

So......a good rise on increased volume......but still in the range.

============

My GUESS......if we can a good flow test from Casc 2 well.....SOON.....then a bit of volume and momentum should take us up out of the range.

However.....this takes us up against TXP target dates.

They said that that gas from the 2 wells on the Casc C Pad would be flowing in 2 weeks....that is about 1 week ago. It implies that it will take 1 week to test each well......seems a bit short to me.
Will they test Casc 2 well and release results......or release flow test results for both wells together.....don't know.

What we dont want......is the usual TXP news blackout as the 2 weeks slips to 3 or 4 weeks without news.

Lets see.
