25/4/2006 11:38 | Mmmm - well the directors now hold 32.07% of the shares BUT 82% of that is held by Vincent Isaacs ! If one was cynical (and I'm not since I hold at 9p so hope that there really is good news on the way) one could postulate that the other directors are showing solidarity, their holdings are not really significant (500K shares is only £40K)and that they are well covered by salaries and bonuses. I'm pleased to see directors buying at a premium but what would really excite me is to see some tangible sales progress (and a Yahoo deal if this is really a possibility). | masurenguy

24/4/2006 18:22 | In Feb 2005 ir raised £2M Touch Group plc ("Touch" or the "Company") announces that it has today raised #2,070,000 before expenses by way of a conditional placing of 10,894,736 ordinary 1p shares (the "Placing Shares") at 19 pence per ordinary share (the "Placing") A month before interims disposal of touch vision and had another £1M The terms of the transaction will be up to #3 million paid by MediaZest, #1 million in cash and #2 million in shares in the enlarged MediaZest company, giving Touch a 19% holding in the enlarged MediaZest company. From interims As at 30 June 2005 the Group had net cash of #1,244,000 (31 December 2004 - #1,098,000). And at full yr results they still made a loss. and now raising more money. Institution who bought @19p said on your bike this time, so directors had no option but to buy in, otherwise all the hard would be down the pan.A bit desperate it looks to me. I still do not trust this lot...they could be throwing good money after bad. Like I said I like to be wrong..so still monitoring. | jailbird
24/4/2006 18:02 | there seems to be a good argument here but what you are forgetting is last year 2million was invested in touch local this was why they lost 2 1/2 million...and now they have quallity management ,youv gota make your own judgment, not rely on what someone else says. | rossstar3
24/4/2006 17:36 | "Don't worrie this little company is going place's this year" Well I would like to think that you are right since I am invested here at 9p. However I see no evidence of any real progress just optimistic directorspeak and rumours of big deals with people such as Yahoo. On what do you base your assertion that this company is going places this year ? | masurenguy
24/4/2006 16:22 | whe i read this from the results..i do not have the confidence "his has been a challenging year for the business during which we implemented a number of changes to both our infrastructure and key personnel. However, following a year of significant investment in the Group both in terms of financial resources and management time it is my belief that we now have the focus, infrastructure and team to capitalise on the opportunities available to the Group businesses. However, because of the disappointing trading in 2005, which fell below our expectations, your directors recognised the need for additional funding and are considering a number of alternatives for raising further finance. As a first measure to satisfy both demand and contribute towards liquidity your directors are proposing to effect and authorise a placing at a strike price of 8p per share. The proposed placing is expected to raise between £ 500,000 and £700,000 and it is expected that the majority of your directors and a small number of high net worth individuals will be subscribing Whilst the availability, timing and quantum of financing is uncertain and is dependant on a number of factors, including the performance of the business as a whole and, in particular, the assumptions that the launch of the new services discussed will generate significant additional revenues, your directors are confident and have assumed that should any further funding be required that it can be obtained in the near term thus enabling the business to continue as a going concern." they have promised to deliver and have not..why will next yr be different? i kile to thing it will but cannot see it yet | jailbird
24/4/2006 16:19 | Don't worrie this little company is going place's this year | thinkbig?
24/4/2006 15:37 | Hot of the press. Touch Group: Share price 6.5p, directors inject cash at 8p!? If I was a punter and read the title of this article, I would be tempted to rush out and buy stock in this company. . I am not a punter. I am a tight bottomed conservative investor who likes value. Even as a value investor, I have to admit that one of my eyebrows raised when I read an RNS update from Touch Group(TOU) this week. According to the update, this little known internet/media company managed to raise cash at 8p a share when the share price was hovering around 6p. Just like any investor who reads of a company raising cash at a premium to the share price, you have to ask why? | cimbom
24/4/2006 11:05 | yahoo deal i hope its a big one | hamidahamida
23/4/2006 20:35 | if good news is coming than why @8p..why not 10p or 12p..U can still raise the same amount and also cause less diltion. | jailbird
23/4/2006 19:31 | Was not told just know a lot of news is due over the coming months, and Yahoo is one of the first. Was in the Mail last week, director's don't buy stock of a company above the market price, thats all i am saying. Ask your self would you pay more than the market price in a company if it was going bust, the answer is NO!! would you buy them if you new the company was going places, and all the mistakes in the past that had been made. Has now made the company a lot stronger and will make good profit over the coming years. Their's you answer holding a shed load of these, will hold for a t least 3 months if not longer | thinkbig?
