27/5/2020 21:29 | Oh dear , just to add why did they not trust a 17 year old Cousin to look after there 4 year son. Once you know that answer Mr Cummins has only acted in the sole interest of his family. the fact he did not disclose this information was protecting his son If you do not know the answer then do not ask me , research | thordon

27/5/2020 17:29 | Nobby Imagine the whole Swedish population living in London. Then you will probably guess why the UK are worse than them. | grahamwales
27/5/2020 17:12 | >> Jamie I completely agree we are the laughing stock of the world. I was on the phone with someone from Sweden yesterday and he was highlighting what a shambles it has all been in Britain. As we all know Sweden took a much more liberal approach....yet still have a lower % rate of cases. The government has made so many elementary mistakes... | nobbygnome
27/5/2020 17:09 | Microscope i blame nobby he started it. | grahamwales
27/5/2020 17:06 | Micro, we just need Stalin!!! | sikhthetech
27/5/2020 17:05 | In which case he should have drove home stopping every 60 miles to take a break. You don't go for a 60 mile drive to see if your fit to drive surely. | grahamwales
27/5/2020 17:04 | We'll have to disagree on the driving issue Sikh. Anyway my original post which appears to have sparked this little 'chat' was meant to be a little bit of light humour, as we now appear to have a Snowball and a Napoleon on the thread! | microscope
27/5/2020 17:03 | graham, no because concentration reduces the more you drive, hence why you should stop every couple of hours.. If you are recovering from a major bout of flu, then you can be drowsy or have muscle aches... and Covid is nothing like flu.. Reading a number plate doesn't mean you are fit to drive 250miles. | sikhthetech
27/5/2020 17:00 | Jamieboy why do you say that? | grahamwales
27/5/2020 17:00 | Sikh If you have eyesight problems wouldn't you just try and read a number plate at distance lol. | grahamwales
27/5/2020 16:58 | Yip,, what anyone else would have done doesn’t matter cos we are following Or not following rules that he helped to make,, the uk is the laughing stock of the rest of the world,, | jamieboy12
27/5/2020 16:58 | mesquida Not only would she have supported him but would have told the media to back off or else. How many photographers were abiding by the 2 metre rule trying to get photos of cummings the other day. Watched the coronavirus questions and every reporter asked the same question. If Thatcher was there she would have told them to shut up and moved on to the next telling them the same. | grahamwales
27/5/2020 16:57 | What surprised me was that there's a press mob standing outside Cummins house in London. Did they not notice that he was missing for 2 weeks!! Why has it been reported now?? As to what he did, he should have stayed in London and followed the guidelines and sought help locally from friends. He should have informed the PM. As to going out to drive to test his sight/ability to drive. I don't think that's a problem, it's something I do and I think others should as well. Too many accidents where drivers are too tired or unfit to drive. And test driving with his 4yr old, well where was he supposed to leave him, home alone?? However, this is a distraction and could lead to further deaths as people will ignore future govn advice or make similar excuses. Therefore, on balance I think he should resign, eventually. However, not until the crisis is well under control.. | sikhthetech
27/5/2020 16:53 | Sounds a bit like Alex Salmond then Jamie...:-)) | marvelman
27/5/2020 16:51 | SNP all the way,, he should have got the boot instantly like we did with anyone breaking the rules,, doesn’t matter what his reason was,, he broke his own rules knowing fine well he is in the public eye,, guy is a well paid clown | jamieboy12
27/5/2020 16:43 | No graham, i am most certainly not a Labour party supporter, i well remember the days of beer and sandwiches for the Union leaders at No.10 with Harold Wilson, and i will always admire Maggie Thatcher for ridding the country of that particular cancer. Now there is an interesting point, do you think that Maggie would have defended Cummings in the way that Boris has done ? | mesquida |
