Nobby

Not sure this has been going on since February in the UK. As Wendy stated they have been planning for quite some time.

The crisis will not have affected revenue for the financial year just finished but will do for the current one.

Porky

Probably why Wendy mentioned they had approached NHS for more money.

Must be flat out utilising all staff outside of contracted work as well.

Revenue could be much more than we think for last year and even greater for current year.

One things for sure government will want more money going into NHS in future.

Staff working in or close to NHS premises IMO are at risk of catching Covid-19

More so IMO than most others like supermarket workers for example

grahamwhales - Not at all -- ~Why should scarce and necessary NHS resources be allocated to take care of prisoners when they are needed to take care of honest citizens? Or do you hold that convicts should come before the rest of the public?

Interesting that no one actually recognises the risks/work done by private companies working within the NHS, yet they are quick enough to knock private companies accusing them of taking work from the NHS.

Plenty of physio jobs advertised so possibly covering NHS staff deployed to other areas.

Porky,

Yes, agree I expect they would be redeployed in other areas, like recovery areas in hospitals, Nightingale hospital.

Also physios would look at remote physio sessions but face to face at GP surgeries etc will be postponed.

Why do you think the dividend will be dropped? There should be no effect of the crisis on their cash position.....

I'm expecting the TU to show £100m++ revenues.
Should see a mention of Services Extensions due to Covid-19 in NHS 111.

Revenues/margins from THC, their new business, and how they are progressing.
Further details of their 'new' airport service.

Divi dropped.
Physio work postponed because of Covid-19.

Fy2020 will show only about 10 months of contribution from GBH.
They will show only about 5-6 months of contributions from THC.

Share prices will go back up so unless you plan never to buy shares again you may find you have less shares than when you started if you decide to buy back those shares.

Interest rate will stay low for the foreseeable future so institutional investors will be pumping more money into companies that pay minimum of 3% dividends imo
