Still think Wendy is not the one to push the business forward though.

Just concentrating on keeping potential patients away from A&E and community based. As far as I can see About Health are the only ones involved in the Blackpool project.

graham,

there's 2 different areas here... The Clinical Coaching which is telephone based and therefore, available nationwide - currently provided by Totally Health.
and
Physical Clinics (or at GP practices) currently provided by About Health.

Bob talks about the Clinical Coaching. I believe that was the reason why he wanted to join the company - Clinical Coaching was setup before Bob joined. It's also the reason why I think the current BoD are the right team.

I believe it refers to a number of ailments that can be dealt with at community level. About Health concentrates on dermatology although I see they have referred to other measures in previous announcements. Also think Bob included this in one of his presentations regarding how much they could save the NHS by coaching regular attendees to A&E in order to reduce the number of visits.

The High Intensity User document refers to Clinical Coaching.
This is the area covered by Totally Health not About Health - although both are a subsidiary of Totally plc..

Maybe they are planning to merge Totally Health and About Health under one roof ???

Could these areas be next.

About Health, a provider of community based dermatology services under contract to the NHS since 2009 and a wholly owned operating subsidiary of Totally, has extended its existing contract to deliver a pilot RMS for North Tyneside Clinical Commissioning Group ("CCG") by a further 12 months. This follows a highly successful initial evaluation which resulted in significant savings for the CCG. This contract extension is expected to be worth approximately £120,000.

Additionally, About Health has secured a 12-month pilot of a similar service for North Durham CCG. This will add cardiology and gastroenterology as two new specialities to the RMS and is expected to be worth approximately £240,000.

They won the full contracts with Blackpool and Fylde in September 2018.

If this can be replicated across the whole of England then the potential is huge. All depends on what degree About Health will be involved.

graham,

If you look back the pilots are old news.. NHS is slow moving..

The pilots for the Clinical Coaching go back a few years... Totally Health (not About Health), a Totally Plc subsidiary, were involved with the pilots years ago...
Started off as SDM and moved to Clinical Coaching.. looks like the NHS are now using the terminology High Intensity User...wish they would stick with one!!

Totally won pilot contracts with a number of CCGs...
As a result TLY also setup myclinicalcoach, to market the service DIRECTLY to patients (using NHS Personal Budgets) but not enough signed up... Offering it via CCGs seems a better option...

As Totally Health were involved with the pilots, I expect they have a good chance of gaining the full contracts.. If it's being rolled out then that's even better..

TLY already have the experience and structure in place for this

Like I say, TLY is not just about Vocare...

gowlane,

The publication of the NHS Plans is a step forward... TLY would have been waiting to see what the NHS plans are.
The next significant step would be the implementation of the plans...

If NHS England rollout the ICS everywhere by Apr 2021 then there will be significant increase in the number of contracts up for tender over the next 2 yrs...TLY have the structure in place...

The hurdle is the current political situation. Teresa May will not be PM during the lifetime of the NHS Plans, although as she won the confidence vote, she will be Tory leader for at least the next 12 months...

I think TLY BoD were waiting for the NHS plans to be announced before making their next move, be that another acquisition or a buy back.

More money for the NHS but not for the privatised NHS and that's from the left wing Guardian newspaper one of your friendshttps://www.theguardian.com/society/2019/jan/07/nhs-chiefs-tell-theresa-may-time-to-curb-privatisation-automatic-tendering-care-contract

Harrison brothers would not have enough cash to buy a controlling stake, if they started buying the share price would rise dramatically and they wouldn’t be able to buy sufficient shares with whatever cash they have left. Not that they would want to buy totally.

So a lot more money for the NHS has to be good news for Totally?

Looking at those positions that were advertised recently, some salary levels seemed modest enough for a listed company so there may well be savings there.

The balance sheet will keep them going for another couple of years as they execute their plan. They just need to start generating operating profit and cash flow again.

Mac,

Interesting question about the Harrison Brothers...
They probably do have enough to take a controlling stake... I don't think they would buy out TLY though.. Vocare started as a not for profit, community based outfit.... I think running a not for profit organisation is completely different from the aims and strategy of the current TLY BoD..
But you never know...

sikhthetech the only post here today relevant as been the one about the government cutting back privatisation in the NHS but you still carry on with generic NHS post about the funding plan that doesn't mention you anywhere in it or the company

I am afraid TLY is in an unloved sector at the moment.

Lets hope they are successful in further cost cuts and winning a couple of profitable NHS contracts.

Question: Do the Harrison brothers have enough money and equity to buy out or take a controlling stake in Totally PLC?
