Insourcing division is well placed to help the NHS reduce hospital waiting lists in all UK nations and Ireland.



Latest figures according to BBC.

"In England, nearly 5 million people are now on a hospital waiting list - 9% of the population - the highest number since records began, in 2007.

A similar proportion are waiting in Scotland, while in Wales it is 17% and Northern Ireland 23%.

Most worrying, the numbers waiting over a year have rocketed - in England, from 1,600 before the pandemic to 436,000 at the end of March 2021."

Highlights for me - Insourcing gross margin 28-30%, compared to c.10% for Urgent. Ie blended margin to improve. 111 to be first port of call and to add functionality like appointment bookings. With insourcing being so critical to NHS wait list reduction, there's a clear path to targeting high single-digit EBITDA margins from low single-digit achieved previously.

Really good interview mighunter, thanks for the link. Once you get over the annoying bad local radio style presentation style (especially at the beginning) he asks some really good stuff (much better than most of the other shares podcast interviewers) and obviously has plenty of first hand experience of how the NHS works.

TLY's insourcing division should do extremely well.


The govn has provided a £1bln recovery fund for England

Even if TLY insourcing division get 10% of that, it's £100m just for the Insourcing Division.

"Every Integrated Care System – groups of health and other agencies working together to deliver services – is being asked to draw up a plan to ensure all hospitals maximise their capacity to do as many non-urgent operations as possible."
