My apologies - those rules apply but since the half year ended in October it's not the reason for suspension as I assumed. If anyone's REALLY bothered about the reason, has a downloadable copy of the listing rules and regs.

It's an AIM rule. Accounts have to be produced within 6 months of the end of an accounting period or the share is suspended until they are. Also applies to full listings, purse (actually, I think the time limits might be a little stricter for the interims for fully listed cos)

Perhaps PG was in the pub celebrating the fantastic interim resuts statement he had prepared and after a couple of "real ales" (he does have a magnificent real ale society beard after all) just forgot to send them off. Completely understandable.

I'm surprised there is no accompanying statement stating why the shares are suspeded. Usually such a statement comes along within a minute or so of the supsension. The statment is usually along the lines of:

"Completion of the Company's fund raising referred to in a previous
announcement is at an advanced stage. In view of the significance of this post
balance sheet event the finalisation of the accounts for the period ended 31st
October, 2000 has had to be delayed"

Announcement says that it is a requirement of AIM listing.That may well be true, it doesn't seem to apply to full FTSE listed shares.
But as with everything with this company I'm afraid the cynic takes over and you suspect the worst.
