08/2/2002 15:48 | Oh dear, but at least customer services should be ok, although our free shares are probably worth what we paid for them ...... RNS Number:2151R Totalise PLC 8 February 2002 TOTALISE PLC Statement re Suspension The Company has failed in its efforts to secure further funding. Therefore the Board has been compelled to request the Court to appoint Administrators to the holding company only - Totalise plc. As a result Peter Gregory has resigned from the Board. By order of the High Court, Stephen Ellis and Edward Klempka were appointed Joint Administrators of Totalise plc on 8 February 2002. A company controlled by Peter Gregory made an offer for various assets of the business, including all trading subsidiaries and intellectual property. This offer has been carefully considered by the Administrators and has been accepted. Under new ownership all the trading subsidiaries will continue to trade as normal and therefore no customers, suppliers or staff of these subsidiaries will be affected by the decision to appoint an Administrator to the Totalise plc holding company. | mog

08/2/2002 15:12 | From www.theregister.co.u Totalise to explain share suspension today By Tim Richardson Posted: 08/02/2002 at 11:33 GMT Totalise is due to issue a statement later today explaining why its shares were suspended earlier this month. Speculation about the company's future has intensified over the last week or so, made worse by Totalise's failure to communicate with its shareholders. Some are so concerned at being blanked they are trying to force the company to convene an emergency meeting. No one from the company was available for comment this morning. The company's directors are all at an off-site meeting and won't be back in until this afternoon. Apparently. In December, Totalise announced its intention to stop issuing free shares (done as part of a marketing initiative) from April in a move to underpin the company's share price. ® | wjordan
08/2/2002 14:36 | Wjordan They never reply to e-mails I've been waiting since Sept for a reply on a share matter that was logged. I have re-sent the e-mail probably 5 or 6 times and still no answer. I now know why, there is nobody there. | purse
08/2/2002 08:35 | At the moment in time the shares are suspend due to Totalise not posting htere interim's. LSE rules state that if they are not post by a certain time then the shares get suspended until they do. They were late last year so I am not too worried. Although no one knows what is going on so in a way that is worring. | wynmallen
07/2/2002 19:03 | I'm pretty new to this game as well, and I'm rather concerned!!! Is there anything that I SHOULD be concerned about?? Does anyone have a clue??? | trader065

06/2/2002 11:10 | Totalise are always late. I reckon by end of Feb like last year they will post. I agree they need to get there act together. | wynmallen
06/2/2002 10:26 | anyone have any insight. Does anyone one have a telephone number to find out ? | wynmallen
05/2/2002 14:25 | Given the state of the markets today look on the bright side you can't lose anymore, it's already worth nothing. | purse
05/2/2002 14:03 | the ceo is a former teacher. says it all, he should have stuck to that. when he was told by a major BS to get lost, he sulked all the way. he has an awful long way to go in the big world of buss. cant see tot surviving for long, but what the hell the shares were free!!!! | linnet
05/2/2002 13:22 | if so i dont know where ? | wynmallen
05/2/2002 10:31 | so where has everyone(and my money) at tot gone?has the true meaning of the 'bahamas' connection now been discovered?there must be some comment somewhere in the market | madmarbles
05/2/2002 00:55 | The rules changed in February of last year. I think it was 4 months before, but now it is definitely 3 months. There may have been a period of transition after February during which companies could still delay without suspension. | wjordan
05/2/2002 00:55 | The speculation/gossip at the moment is that Tot have received an unexpected bill and can't get the results out until it is sorted out. I'm not sure how credible the source of this information is - the poster is being very coy about everything - could be a loony judging by their comments. This gossip is all going off at www.totalisers.org.u | wjordan
05/2/2002 00:39 | pretty sure it's 6 months, kayak. More than 3 anyway. See for eg AFN,ONL,NVC,MRM and TOT itself (last years interims were 28th Feb) | stewjames
05/2/2002 00:31 | re posts 23 and 24, the final accounts have to be produced within 6 months, but the interims within 3 months of the end of the period. That's why the shares were suspended automatically by the exchange at the end of January. They will be restored as soon as the results are published. | kayak
04/2/2002 13:31 | ok. apologies kayak. | stewjames
04/2/2002 10:28 | Its would appear so. | wynmallen
04/2/2002 10:19 | Do Totalise insist on making things hard for themselves, or what?? Max | maxchilly
04/2/2002 08:49 | I don't think anybody knows anything. It's comletely bizarre. There was not even any unusual trading before the suspension which usually gives some sort of clue as to whether the outcome will be good or bad. Totalise said the results should be out Thurday, then Friday and still nothing Today. Unfortunately, this trend is normal for Totalise. It happened before the finals were released, but no suspension that time. The fact they haven't put any statement out at all is appalling. The company has been built on a model utilising the value of loyal shareholders - this isn't the way to treat them. | wjordan
04/2/2002 07:57 | Does anyone know what is happening ? | wynmallen |
