With the amount of new shares , it is not worth putting anything in.

how many rights issues here now 3 ? Everyone has destroyed value . do not give them anymore.

They even use it to take more bonus after a fund raising.

In any case this will be cheaper to buy in the market tomorrow.

We've become a nation of 'box tickers' bhoddhisattva. Tick the box, get paid your government hand out, never mind actual reality. Ex TRK managers are ideal for the task.

I see my predictions from over the years gone past have come true , try failing to deliver and burning through cash for fun . To think this was formed out of btg which has gone on and had huge success and to see this all but bust is a disgrace . Poor management and a lack of vision from management past and present have brought this company from what could have been a huge success to complete failure . Give the money wasted over the years they would have been better served making their own cars with their tech in rather than wasting it chasing dreams . Disaster

It's going to be at least a year before the flywheels are ready for actual commercial production, it seems the Flybrid crew were as 'careful' with the truth as the TRK imposters.

It will be fine if Flybrid comes good, but that is Flybrid.

It does not excuse the dead loss that Torotrak/IVT has been so far.

just back from holiday to read this

the only positive I see is that the new CEO seems to be getting to grips with it

I think he will make a good go of getting something commercialised

If he gets £13m in from the placing, it is a sign that others believe he is credible too

Based on the rest of the report though I worry that the more he digs, the more he will find there is simply nothing there that is anywhere commercialisable

For years now, many years, variators have been life extended and components have been lightened and strengthened.

Numerous clever people have looked at the IVT technology and nothing has come of it

Flybrid might have a chance if the test bus comes good and the units can be made and sold quickly at the right price.

Doing that would be new ground for TRK and that means it is tough to do

I keep my fingers crossed that the needed volume production deal of something (likely flybrid) comes soon. But it is hard to be optimistic.

Normally I filter people who use the F word.

In this case, I share the understandable anger.

If there is anything in the technology Allison will close the deal within 6 months.

sadly shareholders will see no return.

If trk goes to the wall, the assets will be more or less worthless - fractions of a penny in the pound in the hands of a liquidator - a small contribution to his fees - so it's really not worth worrying about.

One thing I didn't like to see was that the new 'Flybrid Vendor' loan is secured on Flybrid assets. The only real assets are the rights to the technology. If (or when) TRK goes to the wall the original Flybrid owners will get the technology back for having loaned trk money that trk gave them. A good deal for them but not so good for long suffering shareholders hoping for some value from the liquidated assets. The arrangements also imply that the liquidation scenario has been given serious attention.

The globe is not interested because TRK have never had a product ready to sell off the shelf.

Every time a new customer has become involved they always seem to have to start all over again.

While the top brass take their inflated salaries and bonuses for making what?

Sorry to hear that Bodgit, we have all been duped, especially by the bean counter. The lure of TRK has always been the global potential of the technology, but for whatever reason the globe is not yet interested enough. The salt in the wound has been the egregious salaries and bonuses that were undeserved, for the managers repeatedly failure to get a product to market.
In view of events it seems that Deering was just plain flat bare faced lying last November, and in doing so created a false market.

To think, since last year November TPSA reports were made public, I bought over 200k of these by selling out of Sirius Minerals, BTG and Inland. That just shows my own recent decisions and trading record as having being rubbish. Hmmmmm.

Looks to me as though Adam has met with customers/partners and realised that there was economy of the truth going on with no likelihood of short term big licence fees so better raise funds from existing/new shareholders and now. I know we have seen many fine words before from previous incumbents though the results yesterday had few of those and seem to have been close to what probably is the unvarnished truth . I will not be buying anymore of these unless the share price recovers significantly in the next couple of weeks or so. Must go, clinical supervision to prepare for. Good luck all.

At least we got a decent amount of detail in the update.

I guess we will return to normal next year when the new guy will not be able to blame the old guard.
