TD - I have to correct you there.

Prevent Gamblers from losing their cash.

This was never an investment

Danmart they will be able to hunker down for a while. In doing so they will at some point cross a line on their financial ability to retain a listing. In reality that has probably already been crossed. It is unlikely that they are undertaking any exploration of financing, the substance was always a myth, therefore the next RNS will be a delisting followed by the administration of a private company. There will only be the one creditor who will have no action against the company.

All we were doing on this thread was trying to prevent investors from losing their cash!

Troubled Titanic shipbuilder loses £120m Falkland Islands contract.

More problems in the Groat camp - albeit in his lesser role.

This has played out exactly as I presumed from the date they wanted to pay a deposit to secure first dibs on land that had been up for sale for 5 years already that no one wanted.

As I raised that point - having done some research - then the complicit posters on the other thread tried to shout it down.

How much money has been lost by the ill- informed on this wreck?

One good point today - whilst the markets are crashing TOM has not fallen any further....

Five weeks. Not a word.

The BoD are playing pathetic games. They have known or should have known for many years that TOM had no credible strategy. The narrative has been strung out to generate a salary and remuneration and that is all it has achieved. The time between suspension and the next RNS will no doubt be used to describe how hard that they have all worked but in the event it was to no avail and that the directors will seek a delisting of the company.

In reality at the point of suspension the BoD should have followed a twin track approach - 'raising funds', their alleged objective, or disposal of the 'assets'. A little idle speculation but if disposal of the assets is mentioned in the delisting RNS, they will have to agree that they could find no buyers. More likely it will never be mentioned.

A pathetic bunch ably abetted by the now silent lambs on the other thread.

First posts in over a month on the gamblers thread.

Absolutely irrelevant observations for a company with no employees and no cash....and the majority of gamblers have worked that one out now.

Libot, we do remember their morally reprehensible activities screwing new punters for every penny they had. There is an unpleasant relationship between narrative companies and the off grid backers which they need to peddle worthless shares onto the market.

I note that if Reichy is posting, it is under a new name.

And this mug punter was laughing at my face many years ago because I cut my losses with -15% or so. Most of you don’t remember his and skidboy fraudulent activities, he only changed his tone last few years

Where have all the sycophants and rmart etc fan boys gone ?
Just because the company's shares are suspended and are almost certainly worthless, surely
with their years of practice at denying reality they should be telling us how its just a mere bump in
the road and this time next year they are all going to be .....millionaires or something.

Surely they are not seriously realising we were correct all along ?

Four weeks and not a squeak from the other thread. TOM has knocked the stuffing out of one or two of the louder voices. The Board now need to get a grip and update the market with what we have always known.

1d - missed that one! As ever the timing of the final demise of TOM will probably depend on the personal requirements of the Board - not that it will make any difference to the outcome. I suspect Groat will be too shop soiled to pick up any more sinecures.

The only silver lining to this cloud is that capital losses could be more useful under the new government, although that assumes that the gamblers have capital gains outside ISAs to offset.

TD - don't you mean the 'ex-chairman' of H&W? It would appear Mr Groat was demoted when the new 'Executive Chairman' was appointed last week. Imagine that - chairing two companies that go t-ts up in the same month? At some point you would think he would have to stop pointing the finger at others and instead take a long hard look in the mirror. With regard to shareholders it is indeed surprising that no one is complaining about having been hoodwinked over many years by an inept or worse CEO and board. Of course, there's nothing left to fight over, nor funds to even pay for defense counsel, but it is surprising that no one is looking to hold the board accountable.
