They seem to have forgotten this...

"Qn: How long can our cash last? Will we need another placing?

JP: It's tight if the funding process goes beyond end of November. Already had discussions with a couple of entities re if funding needed to get us over the line.

John confirmed income from first plant won't start for 2 years from now"

So Not done , no cash to do anything with except just exist as a zombie company and some people still hope they have not wasted everything they put it....

Ah that explains the "mention " of CORT then - does he still have some unsellable equity in PQE ?

As for the gamblers (deluded) resuming talking about Valkor and CORT.....
have they forgotten their own AGM notes ?

Their quotes -

"Not been using Petroteq process for a couple of years"..."we're now using a better solvent "

They just cannot join the dots...

BTW - Talais on the other thread is telling porkies if he cites CORT as the process that Ecoteq / Valkor will use for oil sands extraction. The Ecoteq release instead cites COSET. Perhaps COSET = CORT, but either way, they will be trying to raise money against an unproven technology in a market that that will have some serious doubts. Tom shareholders shouldn't be looking to ride these coat tails.

TD - it is hard to believe that anyone can take consolation from a dream of future rescue by Ecoteq/Valkor. Take a look at Ecoteq's finances (if you can find it). Actually, don't take a look. It's not worth your time. This is a company that is so far off the main board in Norway that it is almost impossible to find. It has had no trades in its shares for months (even after 'positive' news from Utah) and boasts a market cap of ~£500,000, some £2 million less than Tom's hyperinflated market cap. Like Tom, it's website appears to list the only employee as a CEO, who - like Tom - has no experience in the energy patch. So why would Valkor place its 'valuable' assets in such a vehicle? IMHO, Valkor had so much success milking Tom's shareholders, that they have found a similarly dysfunctional candidate in another market and will now try the same in the Norwegian market. Oh, and BTW, the Ecoteq Chairman is none other than Gerry Bailey, the very same Chairman who presided over Petroteq's ride into oblivion. The story just gets better and better.

Probably the only reason why TOM have not been annihilated:

Lack of news strikes again. Can't say I'm surprised that some will fear the worst. Must admit to having one foot in that camp too but having been here so long I simple cannot sell out, just in case I do miss out........

It's former Valkor leases - a previous notice referred to sections 9,16 and 22 ( no range or township given). The only fit for them on SITLA leases is SSW of Vernal

Is this our peace of land,Ecoteq owns the working interest for bitumen production on 800 acres of land in Utah's Vernal West project. We are planning two phases of oil sands extraction, with the first phase featuring a 500 barrel per day facility and the second phase expanding to a 5,000 barrel per day facility. The environmentally friendly Clean Oil Recovery Technology (CORT) is a unique and adaptable method that eliminates the need for water during the extraction process, resulting in no tailing's ponds or wastewater.

Not long before Christmas, crude down 18.3% in the last quarter, no production ready model, one employee, complete inability to raise funds from the markets, and the company is still overvalued by £2.8m.

At what point does the Board admit the inevitable?

No pushback from this AGM ascribed comment

"John talked about salary justification (CEO doing multiple director jobs which saved $200k ; and gained huge no. of contacts)."

Saving money on not employing other people so it should be spent on me !

There is No business activity if there was presumably he would have to employ others - or has every other company in the world got it wrong ? They should all sack other staff to save cash ?

No they haven't - he's not saving a bean , there are no other jobs so you don't pay for them.
The company has lost a fortune so based upon performance -ve he should be paying the company !

But no pushback - he must think its like taking candy from babies.....

So the end of November reached and no news
of course not , there was never going to be.
Now according to the AGM reports they will have to come up
with another story.

As I said I looked at their AGM notes and they laid out so many red flags
but (maybe not surprisingly) the gamblers did not pick up on them.

So (I have been asking myself if I can be bothered) if we look at them
(always assuming their notes were accurate).

Their notes -

"Not been using Petroteq process for a couple of years. Nothing wrong with it but we're now using a better solvent and have made technical changes to the materials used in the process.
There is no IP impact with Petroteq."

Now this is the CORT process that used next to Zero solvent as a consumable
It was going to give oil and clean sand.
It's what TOM spent $1.5m on and as said on here it was NEVER proven as commercial.

This was supposed to be a game changer ... but its been abandoned without an RNS to explain why they spent
all that cash and moreover since it was obvious from the start that a CORT plant would never happen and Valkor
would never get 29% of TOM .....
again their AGM notes "

"Qn: With new 'go it ourselves' funding route, will Valkor still be entitled to 29% of Tomco?
JP: That was based on where Tomco were 2 years ago.
With this latest reserves based funding, it WILL be 100% that Tomco retains."

obvious no CORT no 29%.

But do the gamblers question?
No./

You burned millions $'s and no questions asked. Dumped Petroteq and no RNS - despite some on here trumpeting
PQE were going to sell more CORT licenses including to that ....err really credible - Netoil - ha ha no movement on that either.

TOM's cash has dried up now PQE delisting and refusing to file accounts , CEO resigned

All flagged from the start on here.
PQE takeover at 200% premium - fantasy never happened..... none of it.

But they swallowed everything TOM said - now they just accept that TOM has moved on to an unknown alternative.

Dream on gamblers.
Where have we been wrong ?

Fenners I suspect that the dump was opportunism. Until we see if any existing shareholders have increased their position it is difficult to establish the driver.

One thing for sure is that it will not be news of funding.
