Hi Busa .. I really don't get the Petroteq offer .. it just doesn't make sense.

So in theory I could go online and buy 550,000 shares at 0.205 cents and sell them to
Balmoral for EUR 0.83

Why don't they buy them direct like I would.

It's bonkers. DF

From LSEAt this very moment, TomCo's crude samples are going through Quadrise's research facility (aka QRF) so they can produce optimised formulations of MSAR and bioMSAR. Guidance is that this should be completed by the end of August. The few weeks required is not because it should be difficult for QRF to emulsify an 'easy' bitumen like POSP crude (i.e. not absurdly viscous like an SDA residue). However, part of the QRF process is to produce a highly-optimised formulation that has all of the best combustion and stability characteristics possible (a qualification process, if you like).Verifying stability is something that simply takes time. They need to take small samples of the MSAR test samples produced with a given formulation and store it for a period of time (e.g. a week), and they can then verify the sample after that time to ensure it's still within specification and the phases have not separated (i.e. water and oil still in emulsion). So, the amount of time taken is more about being rigorous and ensuring they can meet those commercial guarantees for the customer rather than any sign that there are difficulties. As guided, by the end of August I'm certain we'll get some good news on that front, unless there are unexpected oil contamination issues again (which seems very unlikely).QRF have emulsified residues that are so viscous that you can literally walk on them, so this should not be a problem. This is an article I wrote about about QRF from a couple of years ago that is available for those that want some more detail and a virtual tour of sorts. Hope it's of interest. https://quorumzine.gitlab.io/quorum/content/2019/12/09/qrf-key-to-qfi-tech-advantage.html

Seems to be a lot more buying interest today. Must be the closeness to the end of the

The press release does not really mention any other body involved. Only says "plant performance should assure our stakeholders, suppliers and potential business partners that the design can handle a wide range of ore specifications."
Where does TOM or Greenfield stand then. May be "potential business partners"
Potential?!!

Worth another post as progress continues to be made. Not long now to find out the missing pieces of the jigsaw. Today we were delighted to host @TomcoEnergyPLC's CEO John Potter at our Quadrise Research Facility, to witness the start of the #MSAR and #bioMSAR testing for the Greenfield JV with #Valkor in Utah. That's why the plant was suspended,Oil of sufficient quality and quantity has now been produced by the POSP to enable an initial shipment of 250 barrels of oil to be made. Greenfield is also working with a local specialist firm to identify potential customers for the processed sand. They have already taken an initial load of 40 tonnes and is anticipated to take a further circa 500 tonnes of processed sand over the coming weeks. All proceeds from the sale of oil and sand will be retained in Greenfield.

Good question Talais, given that Greenfield left the site at the end of June and that Petroteq had (and still have) no permit to operate, the oil just sold must surely have been produced by Greenfield.

Unless Petroteq have been operating POSP and using trucked in ore (see comment saying “multi sourced ore”) without the knowledge or approval from DOGM, surely not?
