So the open cast sand pit mining, the company involved have to fill it up afterwards.
But we have an advantage as water is of low availability, we could use the area as a reservoir.
It would fill up eventually

I'm sure if we're permanently removing sand , the green brigade will insist on land fill etc ie there will be alot more associated costs

Thank you Fishy. Nice one. I was wondering if any of our directors have been out to the site and REPORTED BACK TO SHAREHOLDERS? I expect they are all back in the hive now until Mid-January.

I spoke with the company broker yesterday. He has recently been out to Utah to assess progress for himself. He was very impressed with valkors improvements to the POSP and excited about the switch on early jan and Q1 in general....no apologies for what some will see as a 'ramping' post on Christmas Eve! :-) do your own research!!

And a very Merry Xmas to you goulding and to ALL shareholders in Tomco.

Could see share price start to climb as most traders tend to sell before Xmas and don't return until new year.

The posts on here have degenerated recently. I used to be a large holder, many years ago. However, I sold up, as I Decided that the tree-huggers would win the day and ecoshale would never come to produce. However, I never came back onto this board to say anything about TOM, good or bad out of respect to those that still held TOM shares. I bought back in about 2 years ago, which is why I was posting on here. I do prefer LSE, where there seem to be a lot of new holders, posting reasonably intelligently. With the odd loony butting in.

So, A Merry Xmas to all TOM shareholders and a very Prosperous New Year

If you read this article gleaned from LSE:-

hxxps://www.cdeglobal.com/news/2019/november/texas-sand-gravel-boom

Why not sell the sand? Or move it to Brighton beach, they need it!

Nobody should be considering the sands in an investment decision here. Full stop. If Tomco can make an extra profit, and not leave a scar on the landscape, then great but Greenfield have never mentioned the idea. Until they do it's not relevant imo.

Vauch, this is why you have to be so careful on a BB

Ducky Fuzz on another thread: "So sometime in 2022, if we get all our ducks in a row, we will be producing
10,000 barrels of oil a day, plus millions of tons of sand that we can get a lot
of money for."

Setting aside the caution I would always urge until the scalability of the process has been demonstrated, DF has no doubt started the ?,000,000 x $80/T calculation and is now dreaming of his yatch in the Mediterranean. No. Stop. First question - how many tons are consumed annually in a 100 mile radius of the plant. What is the average selling price of the sand ex-transport in the market? Can the Tomco JV deliver and make a profit at the average selling price less the cost of transport?

These boards were created to share what we 'think' and 'assume' along with the passing on of knowledge. The last bit being a very rare commodity around here these days.
