23/12/2020 19:33 | Then we get to the fracking sand at $80 a ton | vauch
23/12/2020 19:16 | Vauch, agreed re the Sahara. Sand can be washed however the key elements to aggregates is that they need to be near to their market, or have a cheap route to market. Transport is the killer. The value of the sand will have to be considered on a location by location basis. TD | the diddymen
23/12/2020 18:36 | Desert sands usually contain high amounts of salts. This is terrible for construction, since salt will rust the steel inside the concrete structures. Rusted steel will increase it´s size, making structural failure on both concrete (mass loss) and steel (strength loss). | vauch
23/12/2020 18:23 | I have a slightly different cost structure to transporting sand but the principles are the same. Could be useful if it is in the right location, but Green River is not the place. TD | the diddymen
23/12/2020 16:37 | Cost of moving sand on a 8 wheeler full load about £600 + 6p a mile , so there would be barely anything left after costs | wilson2
23/12/2020 16:26 | ha ha i like it. | rmart
23/12/2020 16:23 | Should easily get to £30m when you are a holder, won't be able to hold onto £7m when you are not a holder. Nuff said... | stuart little
23/12/2020 16:22 | Merry Christmans Stu, this is for you. You could get a job in Utah building sandcasltes for Tommy! | rmart
23/12/2020 16:17 | I wonder how many sand manufacturers there are in the Sahara? I wonder what the cost of transporting sand to a market is? Do you think that this might have implications on the cost of the sand? Don't ever let a question get in the way of a good investment. Dr TD | the diddymen
23/12/2020 16:12 | fair enough, look forward to it. I suspect we will be under 0.6 but if I am wrong i will hold my hands up and may even buy some as it must be blockbustingly good. oohhh no came the cry ! Just kidding. | rmart
23/12/2020 16:00 | am not panicking at all. And I have said before that volume of bulletin board posts, most of which is garbage, does not reflect a companies potential. Nor should it be used in any investment decision. Most of my best shares this year have no 'banter'. You keep looking backwards, I'll look forwards. Let's see where we are in February. All the best. | stuart little
23/12/2020 15:37 | For you Vauch and many others I do hope it recovers. Merry Christmas. | rmart
23/12/2020 15:35 | Stuart, you do realise why this share price is destined to drift in the region of 0.3 to 0.6 for a long time dont you?, there is no interest in it. Go and take a look back at what the company have done to shareholders with all the 100% plus dilutions in the last 1 year alone ! How many is it again? Plus go and take a look back at all the chat boards for tomco. Take this one for example, in the last months there have been no more than 13 individual posters. 13! it is nothing. Go to the other site L S E, there are next to none there. They would literally have to put a mega run of blockbuster rns statements to make the share price go anywhere. Now, I am not saying they wont, but IMO even if they do it will need mega buying to move it much. Anything I post here does not affect the SP, not a chance, its all banter and I do seem to get under your skin more than i used to, i hope you are not panicking too much. Stay Safe and Merry Christmas | rmart
23/12/2020 15:20 | And the prize for the least funny post of the year goes to.... let me see has it 12 letters in two lots of 6 | vauch
23/12/2020 15:19 | Rmart, one like Sun City in South Africa. | vauch

23/12/2020 15:11 | And the prize for the least funny post of the year goes to.... | stuart little
23/12/2020 15:03 | no worries Ducky, I am adding, I think it will run much higher when the boardroom battle is over. Its all good fun. I heard tomco is going to open a big sand park next, they dont have beaches in Utah so maybe they can make their own. JP will be off on a site visit with his deck chair next yr to find a site for another million dollars. Did they get the lease yet for the 10bopd plant? | rmart
23/12/2020 14:38 | So after a 10k a day extraction, in one year would we have the biggest sand pit. But on a serious note being able to sell the sand is fantastic as this bit is all profit, at the lower estimate of $30 a tone. Can wait for the results of the testing with accurate run figures. | vauch
