04/2/2007 17:34 | Never knew that they owned this. "the ball-tracking technology Hawk-Eye, acquired from Welsh independent TV producer Tinopolis last year for £4.4m"# Also FYI Tinopolis PLC Daily Commentary Our system posted a BUY CONFIRMED today. The previous SELL recommendation was made on 24.01.2007 (9) days ago, when the stock price was 42.5000. Since then TIN has fallen -5.88% . BUY-IF is confirmed by a white candlestick with an equal open and a higher close. The buying price is taken as the previous close ( 39.500 ) according to the Rules of Confirmation. Patience pays off. The market wavered a bit but finally confirmed the recent bullish formation. The dose of the previous day was not enough for a BUY-IF confirmation but today it is. Though the market opened lower today, the day's activity created a white candlestick that closed above the previous close. This is a valid confirmation criterion. The market is now ready for a bullish move. We hope that you acted quickly and already bought this stock . Your important benchmark was the previous close. You were supposed to watch the session carefully, feel its bullish tendency despite the lower opening, and go long after making sure that the prices stay over the previous close. If you bought, continue to hold this stock until the confirmation of the next SELL-IF signal. You are on safe grounds as long as the future prices continue to trade above the benchmark price. What to do if you did not buy? Maybe, you did not have time to follow the session or you simply delegated the delicate job of confirmation to us. Well, it is a bit late, but not too late. You may still find suitable prices for buying in the following sessions. The market is currently cold for short-sellers. Avoid any short sales and cover the short positions immediately if there are any. | lbo

01/2/2007 16:15 | I don't see why they should fall, the last statement was very positive, there has been a buyback at 40p, the price has spent much of last year adjusting to the acquisition and they now appear to be in an uptrend reflecting the positive outlook. | bookbroker
01/2/2007 14:51 | Any chance they might fall and we could top up at a lower price. It doesn't look as if they are going much higher for the time being. | mam fach
01/2/2007 14:08 | am not selling but might add, | ludlow3
01/2/2007 12:15 | The stock market has a tendancy to transfer wealth from the impatient to the patient. Steady buying today and yesterday | lbo
01/2/2007 11:29 | Keep holding, sooner rather than later the market will re-rate this co. according to its prospects. There are few media cos. that can be valued so lowly, large amounts of cash and generating at the same time, with a balance sheet so strong, that they could buy back half the co., and revenue recognition very clear to see, this will be recognised, it's only a matter of time. | bookbroker

30/1/2007 17:59 | TV group prospers through educationJan 27 2007 Sion Barry, Western Mail THE interactive education market is driving strong business growth for Llanelli-based television and media group Tinopolis. Two recent commissions for the BBC Jam online education service, worth £1m, have pushed the value of the company's education and training projects past the £4m mark. Tinopolis, which has bases in Llanelli and Cardiff Bay, is now working on six projects for BBC Jam. It has also won more than 30 contracts to provide curriculum materials and support to the Welsh Assembly, delivering interactive learning materials for the home and classrooms. And it is a security-cleared framework supplier to the Ministry of Defence, providing video and online training materials. Director of Tinopolis Interactive Alan Morgans said, "We are working on an innovative resource for the BBC for blind learners." The project for the blind is in line with the Government's buzzphrase - personalised learning - intended to make it a reality for children with disabilities. Listed on the London Stock Market, Tinopolis is an independent media producer employing 450 people at locations across the UK. | lbo
