Unless a placing is associated with a mega attractive deal or represents the very last of a shareholding, the placing price tends to act as a magnet for longer than you might wish in circumstances like this

I bought about in a month ago on the same reasoning as you. I must admit I thought they would have recovered more by now from that big sell off by a single fund. That event seemed to be more about the fund than TIFS. They are also buying back shares ca 250k per day. Which should help the price.Can I ask why you think a PE can be too low, when other factors point to good value?

Bought in here today on the fact that these appear cheap at these price levels in a decent sector.

Additionally:

PE 6.0 (Personality like PE to be a bit higher but..)
Increased profits in the past several years.
Near double digit ROCE
Decreasing Debt.
good yield Dividend coming up.
Some well known buyers coming in.

Well it is recovering today, as you predicted.Also I think 50m were placed in the end, but no notification of a big share buy back today.

PH just the bookbuilder. 20M sold to inst investors - they are likely to hold rather than flip. 60 day lock up for the seller.

SP should recover from here because, according to Stocko, EPS for 2024 at 26p so at 143p PE is just 5.5 And for that you are getting a 4% divi, with likely revenue growthy and improved margins. Its cheap!

I'd expect PH buying back 20m at a low price would be good for shareholders.Let's see how it turns out tomorrow.

Also consider tomorrow is the last day for the share buyback, with millions left to buy.It'll be interesting to know how many PH mopped up in the Placing for cancellation.

No money to the company, just the big shareholder. Will kill the share price for a while unless there was institutional buying pressure whipped up by Peel Bunt beforehand
