Good Morning.

The storm seems to have been worse than I thought.
With our Scottish pub Annex being without power we will be losing customers. However Gates seems to be coping well supplying coffee and breakfasts.
I shall now go and look for pictures of the A9.

That storm Gerrit is bad, I see it's taken roofs off houses in Manchester, I also saw the snow on the A9 and hope you are all ok and have electricity restored

Do you know my second ex wife was the nicest person I ever knew, ok she divorced me but credit where it's due she was a good wife

My first wife however, oh my God! Now she was a fire breathing dragon,she used to attack me despite being only five foot tall and on one occasion when my friend said something she didn't like she hit him, he was a gentleman and did not respond, what was I thinking marrying her Lol!

I hope you get power back on soon

Still no power, been 8 hours now.I made some scrambled eggs and coffee for us, from my camping stove.At least the ferocious winds have eased.

My hand is a lot better this afternoon with no pain now but does not look pretty. Probably end up with a battle scar of life on my hand which I can show off and tell people I got the scar fighting a fire breathing dragon (aka the wife).

Looks like a big dollop of rain coming east. Not in Suffolk yet but birds seem to be hunkering down. GH hope your power cut is short lived. 2G don't get those slippers wet and fixer J hope your hand and fingers are getting better.

Yesterday was a beautiful crisp sunny day.Today is wet with seriously strong SE winds. Thankfully precipitation is falling as rain and not snow.

My thumb is feeling a lot better, I seemed to notice it as not treated it with cream earlier so it has settled down now, but bottom of finger is quite painful, that I am sure will blister, indeed I know it will, but is just a small area, rest of my palm is going to be fine.
Just pulled off the large plaster and looked.. I will only blister about 1 cm diameter. Will go and put more cream on and new plaster. Owie Owie but my own stupid fault but then that is how we learn to take more care in future.

So what did the A give you for Christmas? Yes! I am being very nosy.

A Dishwasher! Gosh!, what on earth did she buy you? A ride on Lawn mower perhaps.
I am very impressed with your generosity.

On another note, I have burnt my hand quite badly this afternoon, I was cooking some thing in the microwave on the combination oven setting. Its a fancy one with convection oven and grill as well. Anyway I forgot and also forgot I used a white glass bowl and not plastic ...grabbed it to lift it out....oops! I was not thinking.
Got my hand lathered in burn cream and wearing a rubber glove. Just hoping it does not all blister up but fear it will. We shall see. I will take the glove of as soon as the pain drops a bit more then bandage it.

Actually just taken the glove off and had a look, I might have got away with this and just one bit at the bottom mf my 1st finger needing covered so a large plaster will do.

I should have got her something and feel really bad but I have ordered a dishwasher for her being delivered second week of January, generous to a fault I am and Gawd knows why the ex and now non current wife divorced me, oh hang on I did forget her birthday once
