Just resting to day. Three nights of over wine in and dining beer wine and port so tonight home with shepherds pie and water. Weather seems to be long heavy showers and strong gusts. Our heating is on all year round as it's totally temperature controlled. If cold in June why not warm up

I have been looking at old vintage photographs online of Dundee. My gawd it makes you feel old when you see pictures of buildings you remember being build, have now been knocked down and original building appears in vintage photographs.

Good Morning. Cold here as well at 5 degrees - feels colder. May have to put the central heating on soon, as in today.
I have some logs left over so may light the fire instead.

We have a Gas fired stove in the Motorhome so it is possible to keep quite toasty, or there is always a campsite and get electric hook up.

Now back from shopping. Fairly non eventful, indeed non eventful but did see a friend who was shopping in Tesco and had a quick chat. He wanted to know why we are here when we could be somewhere much warmer in the Motorhome. Good point, but it is not me needing persuaded but the Mrs Jonck.

The bins were me being over cautious, I've got a garage full of them and the suns shining now with no wind!

Yes I googled it and seems it was so weather peeps would not get confused when talking to colleagues and referring to different storms. They use female names so not to get confused with the phonetic alphabet which uses some male names or male sounding words when talking to pilots.

Mrs J would love that, but I would rather be up here ...or in Slovenia..or indeed many other places in Europe would be acceptable.

Spent all evening getting insurance quotes for the car and checking cover offered.
Ended up with SAGA as being the best cover for us at an unreasonable cost but better than extremely expensive.
