Yes I googled it and seems it was so weather peeps would not get confused when talking to colleagues and referring to different storms. They use female names so not to get confused with the phonetic alphabet which uses some male names or male sounding words when talking to pilots. | jonjonck | |

Spent all evening getting insurance quotes for the car and checking cover offered. Ended up with SAGA as being the best cover for us at an unreasonable cost but better than extremely expensive. | jonjonck |
