14/2/2018 12:48 | Geko we can disagree respectfully no problem. Good old PJ, wife maybe buy a few this pm?:) same old pattern. Anyway, make use of it those who haven't already, the better news is still to come. | paleje
14/2/2018 12:47 | Ed - yes I know . I was being a bit facetious. Think he's just trying to put a floor in the drop. | vish65
14/2/2018 12:46 | Agreed Geko. Plus proving that he's not selling... | abrahe00
14/2/2018 12:43 | Yes quite! I think he is basically commenting on the share price action with his purchase! | geko5trade
14/2/2018 12:30 | Vish, The man already holds 32m, he's not doing too badly already! :) Regards, Ed. | edgein
14/2/2018 12:27 | 250,000 !. #come on PJ you can do better than that. | vish65
14/2/2018 11:57 | Well, it clearly wasn't PJ dumping... He's just bought some more... As have I! :o) | abrahe00
14/2/2018 11:37 | Well completely disagree with you on that paleje. Warrants don't add downward pressure. Clearly the market had built up greater expectation than was satisfied by the last announcement. That is very common although given that the resource estimate has gone up threefold I'm a bit surprised. I wonder what some were expecting! | geko5trade
14/2/2018 07:49 | The warrants aren't shenanigans, Geko, they are in addition to. Shenanigans definitely happen and follow a pattern imo. I don't have a problem with warrants per se, my point was they add to downward pressure when the market has clearly already been spooked. They are not the cause of the spooking:) | paleje
14/2/2018 00:22 | I disagree about the warrants being double edged. They are a 'known', in the price, and the exercise of them adds cash. No shenanigans, it is straightforward and positive. It isn't like the dilution of a placing that causes the market to re-evaluate. | geko5trade
13/2/2018 20:51 | Thanks, ed | mr roper
13/2/2018 20:31 | All true and yes the warrants are double edged, especially atop the usual shenanigans here. Good if new blood enters though, people with a bit more patience like yourself who think things through a bit more than the traders, although I suppose we're all traders just with different timescales. | paleje
13/2/2018 17:03 | Perhaps some have been a bit mean about the copper resource at Kapunda. It seems it's common practice in the states and costs are likely to be well below US2$ per/lb. Nothing at all fantastic but a good earner over the years with forecasts of copper prices rising strongly as time goes on. At least the pull back in the share price gave some of us late arrivals a chance to get in at a reasonable price and just sit and wait. All the option and warrant conversions are good cash news for the company but a likely drag on the stocks price. | noirua
13/2/2018 17:01 | Thanks for the research Noirua, I notice one of them says under £2/lb cost but I think nearer half that would be attractive. MB in his proactive interview compared an exisitng Nevada operation using same method and achieving AISC of $2700/t, he said although bigger he saw no reason why they shouldn't be able to come up with similar costing. He and his team and partners are the geologists, I think we must trust them to determine the viability or not, he sounds pretty positive about it. Not sure what the market has hated so much when Kapunda was never regarded as the crown jewels but nonetheless shaping up better than expected. | paleje
13/2/2018 16:05 | Leaching of Copper Ore with Thiobacillus ferrooxidans In any given year, approximately eleven percent of copper production of the United States is derived from low grade copper ore by microbiological leaching of these ores by Thiobacillus ferrooxidans. The illustration is an aerial photograph of a large dump-leaching facility at the Bingham Canyon copper mine operation near Salt Lake City, Utah. Copper ore too low in copper to smelt directly is brought to the leaching pits by truck. The copper is extracted by spraying the middens with water. Bacteria, principally of the genus Thiobacillus which are ubiquitous in these ores grow on the surface of the copper bearing minerals. The copper is then typically extracted from the leachate by electrowinning or solvent extraction. | noirua

13/2/2018 09:44 | Ab, Well all the better if it comes in the next few weeks, if its still H1 I'll be happy enough with that. Regards, Ed. | edgein
13/2/2018 09:40 | @Ed: "... Molyhil upgraded DFS in the next few months... ". I think you mean weeks! See below from Jan RNS. Although, Mick's never been one for timeliness! -- Work undertaken confirms increased project viability and supports the completion of an upgraded Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) expected in the current quarter | abrahe00 |
