12/2/2018 08:23 | Kapunda is an unexpected bonus, it must be worth net in excess of the current mcap on its own. When the traders and manipulators clear imo the share price will improve, it's typical of AIM. Good to see Stigo arrive, he usually gets it wrong. | paleje
12/2/2018 08:20 | Mr Roper, No they only acquired the project last year and are figuring out the resources at present, then scoping study through some basic ground work, seeing how amenable it is to the technique etc. Clearly highly amenable when they think there's 119,000tn of recoverable copper from just the shallow resource. Previously they talked about producing something like 4,000tn per year, they'll be looking at a larger production rate now imo News on a potential grant from the ozzies and trial in situ production might be some time off yet. Perhaps before the end of the year though, lots of updates to come on all of these projects. Regards, Ed. | edgein
12/2/2018 08:17 | Sadly, the share price here isn't governed by fundamentals but herds of traders who have zero patience. Just need to sit tight and wait it out. They'll be gone soon... | abrahe00
12/2/2018 08:15 | Oh dear! sinking like a (copper) brick!1 | mostro
12/2/2018 08:14 | Let the sellers have their day; long termers will reap the benefit. | denjon
12/2/2018 08:13 | Guessing we are just following the ASX at the moment, I see no reason for the drop.Wonder if MTR are hoovering more up? | jarega85
12/2/2018 08:09 | My 100k top up is showing as a sell | jarega85
12/2/2018 08:08 | As Edgein points out in 4200, grades are fine contrary to Deacon's deramp, see Mick's tweet on the grades below:- @MickBilling 4h4 hours ago More Mick Billing Retweeted Thor Mining Outstanding news for @ThorMining #THR - note that the grade of 0.25%Cu is ideal for ISR. High grade deposits do not leach well. To achieve good recovery quickly grades like this are essential. | paleje
12/2/2018 08:06 | Mm’s trying to manipulate the market. Disgraceful!!! | cudmore
12/2/2018 08:04 | And...can't sell... someone offloading 100k blockz. Sell on news brigade... Typical. | babbler
12/2/2018 08:02 | Thanks, Ed. Is the leach processing already set up? | mr roper
12/2/2018 07:59 | Mr Roper, From Kapunda I guess the scoping study/PEA will be over the next few months. Scoping study for PM is ongoing apparently and upgraded DFS for Molyhil is also ongoing at present too. Regards, Ed. | edgein
12/2/2018 07:58 | The deacon - such shallow uneducated deramping - easily exposed as edgein demonstrated | ianbag
12/2/2018 07:45 | When are they planning to produce a PEA and feasibility study? | mr roper
12/2/2018 07:43 | Excellent news, huge increase in the recoverable copper and this is only from the top 100m of the resource so very shallow. The Deacon, How much ore are they having to shift to get access to $785m of recoverable copper? None. I suggest you read up on what in situ leaching/recovery is. The clue is in the "in situ". There's no mining involved here at all, they just extract the copper from the copper sulphate solution produced. As Mick stated this is outstanding news, I was expecting that recoverable would have been around the previous 40,000tn mark, 119,000tn of recoverable copper or 261m lbs of the stuff is significant as copper remains above $3/lb and THR paid a tiny fraction of that and its only from the top shallow part of Kapunda, as Kapunda has underground resources (not just shallow pit-able resources) this is very significant, they only need to drill shallow holes. Regards, Ed. | edgein

12/2/2018 07:00 | 0.05% cut off, how much ore are they having to shift to extract this relatively little copper?! Yes ISR works better at lower grades, but I don't think this is a particularly impressive or attractive project. | the deacon
12/2/2018 06:59 | Mick Billing clearly delighted: "Outstanding news for @ThorMining #THR - note that the grade of 0.25%Cu is ideal for ISR. High grade deposits do not leach well. To achieve good recovery quickly grades like this are essential." | cf456
12/2/2018 06:55 | OMG......hang on to your hats today folks!! | cudmore
12/2/2018 06:43 | Excellent excellent excellent! Almost triple the previous estimates plus the value of copper has greatly increased and is forecasted to continue.Cheap costs to retrieve also!Let the excitement begin | jarega85
12/2/2018 06:29 | Sub economic on almost any level | the deacon
12/2/2018 00:33 | This 0.25% copper result needs a fair bit of thinking about and crunching the likely profit numbers. Aussies not really impressed so far. | noirua
11/2/2018 23:45 | Excellent news. | cf456 |
