31/1/2018 08:46 | MTR added to its Kingsgate position several times as it built its stake. So the same modus operandi is certainly possible at THR. | cf456
31/1/2018 08:37 | I see MTR have sold up their Kingsgate stake in order to "focus on their existing investments..." Let's hope they decide to buy some more THR! | abrahe00
31/1/2018 07:49 | Geko, Very true chap, in that THR/MTR joint release they have a 14 (fourteen) pence VWAP price target. I don't know about the rest of you chaps, but I'd be quite happy with that. :) Certainly at £22m cap its very good value for the hundreds of $m of Wo and Mo at Molyhil and Kapunda and the lith. Does very little to price in the world class PM asset though and as far as we know discussions are ongoing for that one. Since MB is now sitting on £m from the warrants and MTR funding and is well funded into 2019 this would be one of the riskiest shorts on AIM. A good JV deal on PM alone could see this multiply from here. Regards, Ed. | edgein
31/1/2018 07:42 | Where's the Kapunda report!? Prolonged and unexplained delays are never good in my experience... Hope I'm wrong. | abrahe00
30/1/2018 16:31 | Just an iffy market today I think fellas, and people waiting for news, no PJ tweets to lift the dullness:) News should do the job nicely when it comes. | paleje
30/1/2018 14:36 | Just corrected that Geko5trade. AS you say, much easier to short a downtrend. And yes, MTR looking for very much higher levels I'd think. Otherwise they wouldn't have added at these levels and shown that they were very willing to do so by paying a premium and also buying on market. | tromso1
30/1/2018 14:31 | I think you mean short a downtrend tromso. I don't think anyone is shorting this. In an uptrend and isn't overbought. 3.5 is resistance but if that goes then 6 or above looks the target. I do think someone might be reducing a position but that often happens for reasons entirely unconnected with the individual progress of a stock. MTR obviously looking for much higher levels. | geko5trade
30/1/2018 14:04 | PIs can only generally short via CFDs and SBs. If the stats are anything to go by... "We note that the majority (76%) of retail customers who bought CFD products on either an advisory or discretionary basis lost money over the 12 month period under review (July 2015 to June 2016)." | tromso1
30/1/2018 13:52 | Why would you short such a tiny market cap being heavily bought by a renowned operator like MTR when company changing news could drop any day causing a large gap up in price and instant heavy losses for any short position. Too difficult to control risk effectively. Much easier fodder to be had in larger market caps where you don't have a massive spread to overcome and where there's huge liquidity. Also much easier to short a downtrend than an uptrend. And the trend here is clearly up. | tromso1
30/1/2018 11:03 | Games being played by the mm’s! Always a sign they are desperate for stock. | cudmore
30/1/2018 11:00 | Sorry just gone to 3.75/3.25 | lgw
30/1/2018 10:58 | 3.75 to buy or sell on ADVFN, is this correct? | lgw

30/1/2018 10:41 | Well said tromso1 !! | mostro
30/1/2018 09:01 | Strongly up in 1 month, 3 month, 6 month and 12 month timeframes. One of the top movers on the entire market over the 12 month timeframe. Strange definition of dog. Chosen an apt name for yourself right enough. Without the bionic bit of course. | tromso1
30/1/2018 08:53 | The dog goes down where it belongs | bionictwat
30/1/2018 05:59 | ASX:THR up over night 30% plus to 7.2c. L. | lenses
29/1/2018 14:00 | Share is heavily bought by Metal Tiger and by a director of the company, both with a proven history of very profitably trading small cap shares. Trend, momentum and volume are all strong with the chart breaking out to new highs. The company is heavily cashed up. The company is hugely undervalued with a very small market cap of £21m vs a huge asset base of >$1.8billion worth of base metals, all of which are trending up strongly and likely to do so in the years to come. | tromso1
29/1/2018 13:31 | Share is heavily pumped on Twitter and by a director of the company. Still requires a JV for financing though I suppose getting the share price as high as possible makes funding that much easier - if no JV partner comes in. Share price may well continue up but keep your wits about you. | noirua
29/1/2018 12:42 | Short tracker is not listing thr. Ticker......no shorts open or just not listed? | telbap
29/1/2018 12:11 | "Rumoured short" closing? | lgw
29/1/2018 11:55 | "#THR - 1m buy - this trade isn't your normal PI's accumulating this to me is a hedge fund type and the buying along with #MTR is shrinking the free float which if a commercial deal is announced will see a MASSIVE uplift 09:29:33 3.995 1,000,000 £39.95k" | cf456
29/1/2018 11:33 | Delayed 1 million buy @ 3.995 from 9:29am just printed. | cf456
29/1/2018 11:28 | A little bonus for Kapunda and may explain why its taking a little longer to collate. hxxp://investorintel | vish65 |
