The embattled travel agent, which has put its airline on the market in a bid to repair its battered balance sheet, held a series of meetings with top institutional shareholders last week. City sources said many investors were buoyed at Thomas Cook’s plans for “RemainCo&rdqu On the assumption that the airline is offloaded later this year, the travel agent will focus on its website, in particular an online portal that allows customers to hand pick parts of their holiday.
