Im not sure if psquared took more short out if shorttracker would show it. The record would exist somewhere but shortracker doesnt track under .5% so if they bought to cover and took it under .5% from .69% would it show?

Like everyone looking for an entry point IMO look at short tracker website and the buying signal is when PSquared Asset Management reduce their short. They probably shorted from circa 6.50 and still have a big short open- so them reducing position to nearer .5% is a good indicator they are nearing their target price. But when big boys close their shorts this will reverse. IMO a potential threat THG may have to write down recent purchases for overpaid and online shopping share valuations on the balance sheet have plummeted since they purchased

There's a lot of room left to go down. Other II's must be looking at the risk and considering cutting their holdings despite what it'll do to the price. Also we all know Softbank deal will not happen now - they'll be an announcement at some point and they'll be another kicking. Board knows there's more pain to come or they'd be loading up at these prices.
Keep your powder dry. Long term you wouldn't regret buying at these prices, but it's heading towards £1.50. Imo in the very short term there's more risk of it dropping a further 20% than rising 20%.

Blue to Red... what a shame. I had high hopes for today. Best case we finish flat and move up from there. Worst case we fall down and through 180

Did it go under? Looks like £1.91 was the low to me. Pattern today looks very similar to recent days. Big drop at open, then a rise (though steeper today), then slowly reduce from there throughout the day until it tanks back down to a loss at 4.30.

Quite the prediction Space_bob.

It ducked under 190 to take out 190 stops, definitely feels different today ie it tanked on open and then recovered, rather than the usual tank on open and continue throughout the day.

Yes paulie double digits for sure one day. I think recovery to 500-600 is a 6 month thing from when we hit bottom. But that's a great risk reward

Well given the growth potential of the firm and the track record to date, the fall has been markedly overblown. Personally expect fair value at around 500p area until we get further clarity on the SoftBank deal. Long term this is easy £double digits.

It's a rare sight but don't get too excited. I think this will nudge under £1.90 at some point today, but finish around £1.95. Unless of course there's an RNS which changes things.

Christ, last thing we want is a link to Make Ashley. I've no problem with him personally, but I suspect a few THG customers might do. Look at Darktrace being tarnished by Mike Lynch association and he's just a shareholder.

SenseiBull you may just have stumbled on something there Mike Ashley with all those 100's of millions from selling Newcastle United to the Saudis. investing in THG would give him a great return at these prices also possibly synergies with a link up with Sports Direct at the same time as a added bonus.
