Watch the Nasdaq futures closely folks, they are very revealing as to where any price momentum resides in THG!

...Seriously Els, a bid is lurking for around 260p, why not just go all out and go for double that as I'm sure it won't be hugely disappointing hey!

Toansy, I earn more than the £5/pair you get for shining shoes so I doubt you give away more than I earn. You sound very insecure about your wealth. Oh well, by the looks of it, you've got no clue what you're doing so you should be insecure about your wealth. I mean look at what your THG investment yielded - 90% loss. And you claim this is one of your good investments. I can only imagine what the bad ones are.

What a muppet BLDM. It’s tax efficient and if he had have disposed of shares he had without purchasing any you would be complaining he is offloading.

I give away more than you earn per year. If I had Matts money I might give away 800k worth of shares in the knowledge they be worth a lot more soon especially to friends who likely invested at IPO price. Duh.

Also, nobody is saying what everybody is (or should be) thinking. The deal with SoftBank fell through but THG likely planned to have another £900million come in through that. They went on a spree and spent £1000 million in 2021. They didn't plan not to have £900 million extra in the bank. Guess what this means - losses and a risk of bankruptcy. Companies go bankrupt every day yet the rampers here talk about this share as though bankruptcy isn't a possibility. This can go to zero or close to it if bankruptcy risk rises.

MM is Dodgy McDodgeface. Who TF buys 1million shares and gifts them to friends. Especially someone who already owns millions of shares. Always be wary of strange things like this.

Dividend & share buy back only way out like eg CURY (LSE) ... ex dividend dates on 4th followed by 75 millions share buy back , money coming in both way ha ha

I don't short period buddy and I'm neither a pump nor a dump merchant, I try to provide some objectivity to the masses but as you can see I'm not the most liked across Advfn but I dont consider this to be a popularity contest, hehe!

...And of course I've been keen to invest in THG in the past but the more I delve into the company even at these lowly valuations, the more I believe its in a rather precarious position going forward and yes I may be completely wrong but the market risks are certainly elevated here so is it really worth all the risk and the added stress, thats what you and everyone should be asking yourselves here buddy!

Bwana4 if you're so convinced that the company is on a sure footing why are you so worried what derampers posts. Right now if I looked at the chart alone I would suspect something isn't right. I hate shorters but if they argue their point well then they have just as much right to post as you do. I ignored the derampers on 4d threads and ended up losing the lot.

I'll give you that buddy, you certainly have some determined optimism for the future and I really do hope I'm wrong for your sake but the more I consider those bids, the more I wonder if they were anything but a ruse between friends to try and stop the rout!

...And THG is stopping at nothing for 'Growth' and going private will just see it plod along so I honestly can't see why Moulding would ever consider going down that route but stranger things have happened no doubt, hehe!

...Toansy, please dont make those all important decisions based upon senior management buying as its just indicative never a certainty for what awaits in future much like technical analysis and we know nothing of their personal circumstance so its rather pointless even trying to compare ourselves to them!

...Anyway, all the best here man and try to diversify ones portfolio a little as it could provide some added comfort should it not all go as one planned.

I think your wrong and Moulding won’t screw over the small shareholders. He declined 2 quid not that long ago. He won’t get shareholders to go along with a low ball. He has 14 percent voting rights and not 22 as some think. He may have friends but Jupiter is at their limit of private companies in the fund and going private involves debt and risk and won’t be for all the shareholders. If lord Allen has his doh in at 86p I’m feeling very relaxed.

Here’s my prediction.

We will see a drift up in share price before results. Results will be good enough and will rerate to over a quid by end of September.

Paddy, its not for me or anyone else here to sway your decision-making, you should be highly discerning to do that all by yourself if you really are a serious investor!

...And I do wish you the very best of luck for all your endeavours here and I applaud you for your continuing conviction in THG but try to remember that as a business scales, those gross margins quickly disappear and with operating losses mounting its only going to deepen even further in future and come on man, Moulding is not a fo_ol to take it private for a near 200% premium, he'll want it for next to nothing!

...This is simply 'Business' to him buddy and being a moral saviour to investors just doesn't count anymore!
