Kooba I think you've also got to look at the TR1's released during the offer period. Many of the large institutions invested at IPO levels and though some opted to short which effectively has allowed their average price to be significantly lower with the profits made during the fall. I see the worm has turned and I truly believe other suitors or this sovereign fund to see great value not just now but in the future too. Enjoy your Sunday

Can't really have an MM backed deal below 170p now..and "significantly undervalues" means one should expect any approved deal to be well ahead of that figure.Macro background bad but turning down 170p cash having talked to major shareholders now puts pressure on exec's to deliver operationally and share price wise ..or come out with a knockout above 200p. The shareholders supporting current approach in turning down offers must be convinced it is the right thing to do ..and undoubtedly know more than me on what is going on behind closed doors. Most institutions are under pressure from their own investors in many cases short term pressure and in recent markets keen for liquidity opportunities ..they must have been promised something?

Are those faintest of whispers going to be heard and the voice of Matthew M will be saying "I told you so"...He gave two suitors the short shift when they muted 170 and showed the door politely asking them to shut it on their way out...So would it surprise the masses, the sceptics, the FUD spreaders and the vermin that a sovereign Wealth fund is running a rule over THG. His Majesty the Sultan of Oman is no fool and neither are his advisors. They know 170 was a no go and the only way to take THG is to satisfy Matthew's price to gain the golden share vote... a very interesting week awaits.CM2

SOS100 - meaning too soon from these lows. I've accumulated big between 73-79, so 10% gain is nice, but looking for more.

The sellers at 77-82p today may come to regret bailing out much too soon ?
Still holding on tight, trying not to look at the share price too frequently.
But a rather fun, profitable trade this, so far ..

share has gone from 150p+ down to under 70p so 77-82 is hardly big uplift
