11/6/2022 10:08 | Your insight was very welcome | boix
11/6/2022 09:54 | It's just late week sellers, and a gap in the chart. They usually get filled. Perfect for the MMs. Now from a technical perspective, it's should drive upwards... I'm more a fundamentalist. Just commenting on what I see technically.. | albert arthur
11/6/2022 09:17 | Albert Sounds very promising Let’s hope you are right Thanks for that although I was rather hoping this wouldn’t happen but it has for whatever reason? | boix
11/6/2022 09:15 | It's bounced off 2 lower EMAs and the gap many of us waited weeks for this to happen... it'll be £1.36p (EMA 8) then £1.40p (EMA100) mid day Monday IMO. Let's see. Where is your logic in a random 60p? | albert arthur
11/6/2022 09:09 | None of your predictions have come true, none, and your beloved FXPO fell 10% yesterday too but I do admire your brass neck....... | plentymorefish
11/6/2022 09:07 | I was right all along with this POS. Under 100 is a cert IMO | lodgeview
11/6/2022 09:04 | Quite possibly but I also know city traders get early sight of tomorrow’s business headlines mid afternoon - they have a ‘working’ I had first hand experience of this practice in the early part of my career - Friday lunchtime/afternoon was always the prime time to swap gossip and ideas. But we will never definitively know the cause of Friday’s price collapse and we just have to get over it. Monday’s opening price should be interesting? A bounce assuming no more weekend FUD in the newspapers? | boix
11/6/2022 08:40 | Boix what’s interesting to remember is that until this point Thg had materially over performed the market and was tracking 130p whilst UK AND US market was down 2.5- 3%, and boo and asc down circa 5%. I think the after huge hours trades are buys that were being done from open to around 3 and that held up the SP, he drop was then buying support over, and maybe the AGM rns with shorts set to sell regardless of outcome of it | sentimentrule
11/6/2022 08:15 | So what caused the collapse at 1520ish Friday? Early site of one of these two articles seems likely cause did although I am not convinced they should have? Nasdaq collapsed at 1430 and until 15210ish THG was holding up and even rose initially after the US inflation data collapsed US market futures? Is this just more FUD although it did prompt a huge volume in selling on Friday? I suspect early site of the Times article headline did the damage although I think the market miss understood it’s meaning? Surely the writer of the article realised the ambiguity in his title and the likely impact on the markets? “Hut investors close door on board suitor” - actually it means 9% of voters at the AGM voted against his re-election NOT against his bidding or his bid! Either way 91% said YES! Has this prompted a buying opportunity on Monday assuming no more negative press? Any intelligent ideas or thoughts welcome. | boix

10/6/2022 20:47 | Toast I think paranoia is getting the better of you pal. I was here a long time before you. I said I was NOT gloating but again you come straight on the attack. I won't rise to it. I have and always have been here for sensible debate. I won't resort to the lowest common denominator name calling and the use of the c word which I find abhorrent. I will be on Santa Monica beach this time tomorrow. Nobu Malibu on Sunday. I may even update my DCF whilst I am away. Try not to have too many sleepless sweaty nights Toast. | mrsimmons
10/6/2022 20:07 | Still haven't sold...Great company. LtH | leoneobull

10/6/2022 18:29 | Mrsimmons, have you seen the new Top Gun film yet? | walshr123
10/6/2022 18:19 | Unfortunately it looks like no bid will transpire. I am not going to gloat etc but what I will say is I did warn the price would fall quickly if that became the case. Those investing in the last couple of months were taking a 50:50 gamble on a bid. The fundamentals don't support a price above £1 IMO. I can understand why no bid is likely - the market looks horrible and we are going into a recession. I spoke to a partner at a big 4 firm today and he tells me the M&A market has turned. Has gone very soft. On the plus side I am hearing that the supply chain backlog is starting to soften - china ports are open again. Offers some hope at least on inflation. I am off to California tomorrow but will be back in 2 weeks. Finally some of the posts and language on here is dreadful. It has ruined the board. At least with Billionaire bob you could have a sensible discussion. Regards. | mrsimmons |
