19/5/2022 17:48 | Potential turning point or milestone with such large volume and erratic price action ? | griffo221
19/5/2022 17:46 | Boix - Thanks. All we know is 'something' is happening very soon. Extremely unusual activity! Just look at all the after hours trades. THG is manipulated to high heavens, we all know that for a fact. My take, they are all exiting there positions, knowing news is now imminent, and are managing themselves out, however they are getting more and more desperate each day (Explains Simmons desperation, causality in full effect!) | london07
19/5/2022 17:40 | Hedge funds closed shorts in brokers dark pools so we couldn’t see the volume until they were booked at LSE after close. Usual practice. Many of the larger booked trades were amalgamated smaller trades from earlier. According to data less than 30% of today’s volume went through the LSE automated trading book. The off book Trades were both booked on LSE during normal hours and later after close as amalgamated trades. Hedge funds got out closing their short positions without disrupting the market - Although there were a few strange spikes on the LSE order book as it reacted to some of the dark pool trades being registered. All totally usual and totally legal - thats one of the many reasons they use broker dark pools rather than the LSE automated book. Very discrete until now anyway. | boix

19/5/2022 17:22 | Fairly safe to say the 5m trade is a buy- likely shorts/ on loan escaping for cheap in the market turbulence and executed probably when the price shot up | sankshiela

19/5/2022 16:52 | An uncrossing trade is where buyers on the bid and sellers on the ask match together in a single trade at the end of an auction period. The uncrossing trade shows up with the trade code “UT” on the London Stock Exchange. | billionarebob
19/5/2022 16:52 | newbie it is an agreed trade so someone sold and someone bought you numpty :) | billionarebob

19/5/2022 16:50 | The world markets are down today and THG is no different. Newbie if you are going to say "no bid coming" every day until one does occur it will become rather boring. Move on there's a good chap. | oakville
19/5/2022 16:48 | It must have been a buy and that's what caused the spike :) | billionarebob

19/5/2022 16:38 | Hey I happened to watch as that price action was taking place. Fascinating to watch and a two way struggle for 5 mins. What do you think is the story behind the share price being managed down like that? | michaelfox
19/5/2022 16:26 | While the dribbling trolls were thumping out pointless posts on here I was topping up at 112.5p :) Clear that they were just using market weakness to shake the weak and when I got the first offer refused that confirmed it :) | hooded claw
