Has someone got early news on Carlyle Group placing there bid officially? A few weeks on from that Betaville article!

Would love to know the details??? 350, 450p, WHOOOOSH.

They goi g to swing this around a bit to shake a few out, some big buying going on for daya now.

I hate those random spikes and its always sold into and the share price normally goes lower than pre the spike. they also bring the ALgo bots into play
slow and steady rise is the name of the game.

Must have been a buy, because no one sold. Err, oh hang on, that doesn't make sense. Maybe it was a sell, buy a cellar, or a passer buy. Oh heavens... but the upside is the share price goes up and down... Is that the downside or the outside? Anyone on the inside?

Toansy is a fantastic source of unbiased information for this forum. It’s nice to see some decent people who are holding now. It wasn’t long ago that there seemed more shorter’s here than holders. They really are odious people.

Toansy makes a good point. Reminds me very much of the dark days of Ocado which was trading around the 60p level and every man and his dog was putting it down including our Motley Fool friends. My ex boss got a top job on there about 10 years ago and told me that the people who worked there were buying as many shares as they could under a pound (my lowest trade was 54p) I sold at £8
If I remember rightly they peaked at £20 as would have made people some serious money.
The so called experts just didn't get the potential and I believe HUT is in the same boat.

Toansy this has the feel for the index buying MSCI... the 50k at 125.6 was automatic and I suspect several more to come.If it's 14 percent of free float it's roughly 20m shares ... does that sound about right.?

to be fair.....it's ledge, I mean lodge who gets the credit here......he called PFC a short at 100p (currently up 56%).....called this a short at 103 (currently up 20%).....and called fxpo a long at 200p (currently down 24%).....worth following him and then doing the opposite of what he suggests.......you can see how he gets his nickname/handle.......

Oak - Multiple offers from multiple parties have ALREADY been rejected. Yes, new PE groups like Carlyle could rock up with a new bid, or previous ones with improved bids!

Somebody knows something.
The powers that be have decided they are on the wrong side of this, and its time to take this up, after 7 mo ths of declines, manipulating is down by 90%+.

Beauty is this needs to 5-6x to get back to 7-8 months high. Its just madness, never seen anything like it.

82% of shares are held by the top 25 holders. Who ever wants in, or shorts closing, where in the world are the shares going to come from????
