Excellent analysis by the Franny.

If he could bottle his sixth sense we would all be millionaires like him. He must clean up every day.

Certainly the short squeeze that would cause when they announced it might see the price to head back to 1.30 range.

Bob I hear the number is low but higher than current share price for nutrition only. I’d be happy with the 90p val number being used for nutrition that’s being floated as it’s only 20 percent and would put a nice floor on the price.

A deal is a deal and there needs to be enough in it for the next guy especially if they are not getting control. A minority stake is valued a lot less and especially as it needs ingenuity. 1.3b may seem light but a 30 percent discount seems correct. Let’s hope it goes through.

My contact tells me there are two bidders for THG Nutrition. Both are offering a premium.

MM has a put a NOT FOR SALE sign up on all departments and instead wants an equity deal to fast track a SOTP share price increase and keep shareholders happy.

All parties are now at loggerheads but the board are confident that they can persued one of the bidders to invest in an equity deal.

The figure being circulated is 20%

I have to stipulate that this is a rumour but a strong enough rumour for my contact to call me at 5am Boston time and advise me to buy THG.

Which I did at 67p

My contact is well connected, lives in Altrincham and has been giving me solid financial advice for over 15 years.

Do with this info what you will but it does appear that there are similar rumours currently circulating.

Is this the good news MM was talking about at the end of the webcast?

He bought at 50p after deliberating and slagging thg off for 6 months.

Mrsimmons took the Micky and he lost the plot and was threatening all sorts. It was quite a show. Memorable.

Another of my stunning posts on LinkedIn folks...

'Truly 'Outstanding' work of how you've now launched into Sainsburys but whats troubling is that you launched into a majority of Iceland stores in early 2023 yet growth has pretty much stagnated with just around a 2% uptick in revenue YoY so do you see much growth happening with Sainsburys now when not only is the nutritional sector so incredibly competitive and fast becoming saturated but you have no USP either that differentiates you from others unfortunately and as you're already aware (well I hope anyway!), competing with the rather deep pockets of your US peers will also not be that appealing because they will subsidise anything you try and do to capitalise upon your markets except THG with its pitiful cost base (which doesn't include further impairments by the way with its rather overzealous spending spree of the past!) just wont be in a position to counteract because it just cant afford too!

And with THG Ingenuity's new found strategic ambitions, is it wise to now wholly focus on those larger enterprise clients because when you're relatively new and without a track record, those larger clients dictate matters unlike SMEs and with the whole decision-making process being so prolonged with the larger clients, its not always of great financial incentive to the company going forward.

Everything about THG just seems muddled with no real forward thinking of how it actually benefits the company in future but as I've said in the past, it's like the Waterfall Effect cascading down but from the very top and management are quite clearly out of their depth here!'
