jbournel1 - Put yourself in a position that you are getting on in years - one your own, have money to invest, family that are living there own lives, few living friends and nobody to worry about bar yourself - or be almost housebound. Then you may also spend time following your investments and posting to chat to the likes of yourself.
I guess sentiment will be grateful for you asking if he/she is ok though.

This is a good little roller coaster though for a few pennies each day.

Good Luck and be nice to S etc. :-)

There's quite a few scenarios but I would rather not show my hand to the mms reading this board, it's far too profitable.

Nearest best thing would be a link for FCA short selling page, the rules for which were updated in February of this year dropping the disclosure requirement down from 0.2% to 0.1%.

It would make it very difficult imo to have a significant amount out on loan without going above 0.1%, do the math.

Good to know thanks pencil, is it possible you could advise why they would do that though? I know not all shares on loan could be shorts but it does appear to be indicative

This is probably why.We dont need to wait, matt moulding doesnt need to wait. He doesnt have to drop his golden share he can still go into premium rankings of the FTSE nowLondon is now formally getting its upgraded listing rules as the City seeks to compete with New York for IPOs and new capital issues. The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) today published the policy statement for the proposed changes which follow the Kalifa fintech review earlier this year. The new rules are effective tomorrow, December 3.They mean that founders with a premium listing on the London Stock Exchange mainboard will be able to retain a separate class of share, for a period of five years, which will see them have preferred control of the company. At the same time, the minimum free float of shares in public hands will be 10% down from the previous minimum of 25%. The minimum market capitalisation will be £30mln.

Looks like we might be at a pivotal moment on the charts its trying to break out of a decending wedge to the upside. It failed yesterday on open it got past the boundary but then was rejected back into the wedge. Its trying again now

The short interest is going down as per yesterdays post, for the record Crest Monthly stock on loan data has nothing to do with actual amount shorted in the market.

The data can be increased on a whim which may give a false impression, especially to new or inexperienced investors.
