06/12/2007 08:00 | darn it i knew i should have got some more yesterday never mind am watching this gem.. | gardenarc
06/12/2007 07:48 | The interims are full of good news, I can't see anything bad in there. The first half is up 21% and even the second half of the year is up on last year's record second half. In addition, the International network continues to perform well and ABOVE expectations with new presences in Kazakhstan and Bahrain. It's all good. IMHO bb | bladeboy
05/12/2007 15:56 | Am tempted,these were on a T10 with TDW. | trewinney
05/12/2007 15:53 | Well done trewinney, you couldn't buy another 30k could you? ;o) | smudgeroo
05/12/2007 15:51 | My buy of 3000 shares moved Wins. | trewinney
05/12/2007 15:45 | There you go, WINS off the offer. Would be nice to get another tick up or so before the day is out. | smudgeroo
05/12/2007 15:38 | Likewise vlain, Interesting to see that house broker SEYP are paying 1p over on the bid for my shares but WINS are only letting you have them at a discount of 0.75p. Now why would SEYP be paying over for shares I wonder? Could they have already seen the results? | smudgeroo
05/12/2007 15:06 | Only one more day to go...hopefully!!! Looking forward to tomorrow RNS. | vlain
04/12/2007 13:53 | One other point to note about the credit crunch situation here in the UK - TFL is no longer a purely national brand. The company has and is continuing to expand internationally in oil rich nations where money is no object to the target market. A very shrewd move by the management in my opinion! | smudgeroo
04/12/2007 13:45 | I HAVE GOT A SMALL HOLDING IN THIS STOCK AND HELD IT ABOUT 3 YEARS NOW BOUGHT ABOUT 62P | gardenarc
04/12/2007 13:38 | gardenarc You last comments worry me. Surely, if you were a holder you would have known that. | vlain
04/12/2007 13:18 | thats my thoughts also bladeboy just been on the web site again interesting its a very up market operation this one. | gardenarc
04/12/2007 13:14 | theoriginalwonderstu IMHO PS: I have been in and out, but am currently out and watching very closely. bb | bladeboy
04/12/2007 12:48 | two more days to go. i share your sentiments Smudgeroo.....as do others here! | vlain
04/12/2007 12:44 | Right I'm going to stick my neck on the line and suggest that we are now near the bottom. * Results due Thursday * Trading update in October said that sales were 20% higher than last year. * Share price sitting on the long term support line and currently massively oversold. * Market Cap of 13.4m and a p/e of 7.52. * Looking very cheap! | smudgeroo
03/12/2007 16:50 | i agree smudgeroo . | gardenarc
03/12/2007 15:56 | I tend to agree with you theoriginalwonderstu I went onto the TFL website yesterday (which has recently been updated by the way) and did a quick tot up of the percentage of shares currently in safe hands. According to their website 79.5% of the total number of shares are in the hands of those who hold 3% or more, leaving just 21.5%, or 4m shares, to the likes of you and I. Should the shares become in demand again, we really could be back to the 120p region within a few trading sessions. Remember only two months ago the company stated that sales were 20% higher than last year. As long as there aren't any nasty surprises for us on Thursday I view TFL as being very cheap at 75p per share. | smudgeroo
03/12/2007 15:12 | Just an addendum - I guess the problem here is also part of the solution. These shares are very tightly held - therefore any buy's/sells of any significance will have a serious knock on effect - the thing that triggered this was a fear that the credit crunch/city bounses would squeeze TFL - this then translated into a sell of about 125k shares, followed a few days later by a sell of 25k shares. I wonder what would happen if someone wanted to pick these up ... | theoriginalwonderstuff
03/12/2007 14:54 | Thanks theoriginalwonderstu | vlain
03/12/2007 14:29 | Thank you for your reply. I'm sure there's nothing too much to worry about. All will be revealed on Thursday! | smudgeroo
03/12/2007 14:24 | His tone of voice - non-plussed! Almost as if he hadn't seen the share price plummet. Got me rather worried, as a £1.48 holder - looking out on to the bear like harbour!! | theoriginalwonderstuff
03/12/2007 14:01 | theoriginalwonderstu Well done for calling the company and thanks for the confirmation of the results date. You must have spoken to Gavin Saunders? What did you ask him and were you able to gauge his tone of voice? | smudgeroo
03/12/2007 13:48 | Called TFL - the FD (I think) had no comments re: share price. Results out on Thursday. | theoriginalwonderstuff |
