Posted at 05/9/2012 08:04 by fillipe Hi again empire. Looks like we got the timimg right here. 30p would do me just nicely but with only 23.2m shrs here and not a lot of free float I'd have like to have been able to hold and and take part in their revival.....having dabbled TFL since 2004 and they were at a 27p (close to a low) at that time.f |
Posted at 28/8/2012 06:37 by bonio10000 Not sure TFL makes profits? |
Posted at 02/12/2011 21:23 by wexboy Folks,I was writing two blog articles about ARGO, and for some reason felt inspired to include a para on TFL - looks like many posters here are sympatico with my own thoughts - if you have an idle moment, it's included in the latest article on: wexboy.wordpress.com Best of luck, Wexboy |
Posted at 25/8/2011 15:46 by zaksab TFL has 10% gross margins! why an earth so low given the extortionate price points. No way this company can grow and sustinably achieve decent profits whith these sort of margins. |
Posted at 06/6/2011 08:29 by pugugly Departure of CEO - Not good news (imo). Market reacting by a further mark down. Could this go the way of many in the retail busines ? |
Posted at 19/4/2011 10:43 by bladeboy Smudgeroo, you just beat me to it :-) PUGUGLY, TFL are far from only a UK company. bb |
Posted at 19/4/2011 08:24 by shorty Pugugly - TFL are not only UK based they are global either direct or through distributors. This approach always helps to smooth any profit curves. |
Posted at 12/4/2011 12:23 by pugugly Smudgeroo:. Yes but TFL are only in the uK. Refs shows 100% of t/o in uK. I woulod strongly suspect they could be hit hard by the econonic squese - the last trading update indicated that results would be below market expectations at that time. Any thoughts as to how bad times could be ? |
Posted at 10/1/2011 16:54 by dasv FYI I put my TFL money into VAA (Vallar) at 1125p. |
Posted at 06/1/2011 14:26 by shorty not for long....I'm guessing the statement has been put out to calm any fears over market irregularity, near on 100% gain over a four week period must trigger some alerts somewhere. If we look at last year's Christmas statement it talks about all the positive aspects of the previous year and in this latest one we see none of that, almost airing on the side of pessimism. "When you're walking in the right direction just keep on walking" (not part of the TFL statement) This release will calm things down and does provide opportunities but we know the chart direction - Holding for £1 in March |
