11/10/2007 09:10 | RNS out; CEO is stepping down H1 revenues 20% up. I think this is not bad going considering the macro economnic conditions this summer. | dasv
07/10/2007 23:00 | I currently have sufficient exposure to TFL but it does seem like a good price to average down with at the moment. The question is whether growth in up-and-coming markets like Moscow, Dubai, Bahrain, Hong Kong will offset any reduction in sales due to this summers credit-crunch jitters. Remember the update in June (see below). TFL's strategy to diversify globally is exactly what is needed to ride-out any potential slow down in spending in the US or the UK. ____________________ Operational * During the year expanded the global network with additional wholesale openings in Dublin and Moscow, while continuing to grow and expand our existing network * Record Christmas sales * Launched additional collections and extended the successful 'Arts collection * Expanded licensing revenue stream with the successful launch of Theo Fennell Scent in February 2007 Corporate * Strong start to 2007 * Focused on accelerating existing business plan through further investment * New openings in 2007/8 to include additional standalone store in Dubai, second site in Moscow, additional location in Hong Kong and new Theo Fennell branded wholesale areas in Kazakhstan and Bahrain * The Board continues to assess opportunities to enter the important US market and is investigating standalone locations in New York as well as potential wholesale distribution opportunities * A major new collection of Theo Fennell watches is being developed for launch in 2008/9 * Theo Fennell Scent is being launched internationally this year. Men's fragrance will be launched next year | dasv

20/8/2007 10:46 | interesting opinion from Seymour Pierce. Since early this year I suspected that international luxury retail would be immune to interest rate rises. Also TFL's exposure to the Moscow and Dubai markets makes a lot of sense and ties in nicely with rising oil prices - meaning more money to spend on jewellery by those nations' elites. Other luxury goods manufacturers look expensive in comparison. Might be a bit late to invest in luxury yacht manufacturers though as a lot of Hedge Fund managers will have to sell theirs in a fire sale when they lose their jobs. | dasv
20/8/2007 10:29 | interesting stock am watching this one. | gardenarc
20/8/2007 10:25 | Lets hope so :)) Theo Fennell "buy" Friday, August 17, 2007 6:58:31 AM ET Seymour Pierce LONDON, August 17 (newratings.com) - Analyst Richard Ratner of Seymour Pierce reiterates his "buy" rating on Theo Fennell Plc (ticker: UKQ). In a research note published this morning, the analyst mentions that the recent decline in the company's share price appears unjustified. Theo Fennell has continued to perform well, after it reported higher-than-expected results for last year, the analyst says. Any downturn in the UK retail going forward is unlikely to adversely impact Theo Fennell's performance, relative to that of its peers, since the company targets the luxury end of retailing and its international foothold is growing, Seymour Pierce adds | tole
20/8/2007 10:00 | I suspect it's a bargain at these prices. | dasv
20/8/2007 08:06 | Quiet in here. This one has dropped off a fair chunk from 150p in just a few weeks. | tole
05/6/2007 17:06 | I think so too. There's every reason for the share price to make an assault on the all time high and then some. | dasv
05/6/2007 09:57 | Moving up this am - looks likely to re-test that 165p in the near future imo. CR | cockneyrebel |
