bonio10000: Rubbish. The business is not overvalued. It loses money hand over fist. The share price reaction says it all. looks like a fire sale to me rather than a sale from a position of strength.
tradermel: RNS The Company notes the recent movement in it's share price and confirms that it is in very preliminary talks with EME Capital LLP ("EME"), which may or may not lead to an offer being made for the whole of the issued share capital of the Company. Continues
bladeboy: It's looking that way going by the share price.... bb
goliard: So sales are falling and the company is loss making and the share price is tanking... but wait a minute, they have discovered the internet and the Far East, so don't worry. Essentially that means that their business is failing, so they want shareholders to support a new model. Not likely to get much support for that in this climate. The only good news is that even their rebased share options are worthless. AVOID
goliard: Looking at the share price graph there is unlikely to be a single shareholder who is in profit with this stock. Rainmaker sees a trend and so do I - put your money in and watch it disappear. I have to say Rainmaker that your trend is total nonsense in the current economic climate.
rainmaker: I think holders will find this interesting-over the years I've observed a strong seasonal pattern to the Theo Fennell share price allied to a share price at two thirds of net working capital circa 20p and below. Generally the share price hits it's low for the year at the end of second/beginning of third quarter before having a meteoric rise between then and the end of the fourth quarter when it tends to trade the high price for the year - regards
smudgeroo: Considering the dramatic fall in the share price of late it the results don't make too bad reading. Sales up on last year. Alias product range going well and to be expanded and be launched in 30 new outlets this year. Focussed on international expansion. A new drive to target wholesale and online markets. The question is can they afford it? The board are confident that they can and that negotiations with Clydesdale Bank for continued overdraft and loan facilities will conclude satisfactory. I guess this has been the main driver for the fall in share price and the still unexplained departure of Barbara Snoad has only added fuel to the fire.
smudgeroo: Certainly looks that way Pug and still we hear nothing from the company. Share price is down over 70% since the January highs and still the board remain silent.
smudgeroo: Who knows TOWS. If she has sold and it's a big then something must be wrong and she's got out before it hits the press. If on the other hand everything is running satisfactory and sales are picking up why would she sell? Final results last year were published in June so hopefully we'll get an update soon. We could bloody do with one, things are looking pretty dire from a share price point of view.
smudgeroo: Could be Pugugly. There's been a few large sells over the last few weeks so perhaps we have a distressed seller. That's the problem with this stock, it's so illiquid that even the smallest of trades move the share price.
