There was an update from the "growth stock network", previously "technology profits confidential" and before that the "penny share letter" reiterating a Buy released after market on Friday. Doesn't seem like anything new but the tip sheet has recently been taken over by a different publisher so it might be hitting a wider audience.Could account for today's move. I don't own.

Directors buys last month, broker price targets much higher, some decent buying today, wonder if any broker research notes out today? Obviously a few savvy investors in the know.

Love Franco Manca's food and tried the Real Greek recently. I wasn't as impressed with that though sadly - the meat was overdone and a bit dry (perhaps I was there at a bad time). Having said that the starters were good and the 'Alpha Omega' lager is great.

Still a shareholder here and have high hopes.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see a takeover this quarter. Well run tight ship here, survived well, chosen great locations and hammered out great rental deals for future growth, quality pizzas, along with Greek food, popular and great value.

Happy to hold at these levels.

Recent article in The Times about eating out stated that the biggest increase in popularity was in Greek food. Didn't mention the real Greek, but must bode well.

The slaughter in the high street continues with Restaurant group closing some 100 more units.

This can only benefit FUL as rents are driven down and competition is removed.

Fulham Shore .. cheap freshly made quality pizzas , high volume locations .

Right place right time ? We shall see.

I already got enough of (STAF) in my portfolio at around current levels but not expecting any big moves until clarity over brexit.

Certainly some overseas money coming into uk equities due to another drop in the £

About time you bought some (STX), fda decision by 27 July and (BOOM) results Thursday, my neighbour Nick Candy has a big stake, the lad has done well in property!

You looking for a free pizza knowing, they certainly do great pizzas, as a shareholder I have visited a few branches and sampled the goods, for research purposes.

I believe they are opening in Newcastle shortly. They have agreed on a large site but it will be split with Bill's taking half. Not sure of the location.

That Proactive Investors pizza picture isn't a Franco Manca pizza I hope. It doesn't look nice to me and it appears to be served on a pub picnic bench.

Yes but you can ask if it’s on their list of target Cities, that info is usually freely available, especially to commercial agents who introduce potential sites to them. Often retailers put target Cities on their web site, although I haven’t checked FUL’s

Otherwise, when I am next passing I will ask the guys, they are often at their soho branch

NY new openings are commercially and price sensitive so I daren't ask. But with Manchester, Leeds and Edinburgh open or nearly open then it is just a question of time. Getting the right site will be crucial as it will need to be large but off-centre to keep the rent down. The memory of the fabulous but ill-fated Kingdom Buffet restaurant in Newcastle is a salutary warning not to go too big. Wherever in Newcastle they eventually open, the queues at peak times will generate lots of free publicity. Great share to hold when there is so much potential.
