06/12/2006 18:09 | gj - have just re-read the most recent trading statement and it says interim results 'expected' around 12/12/6. would be surprised if they came in before that given the IFRS conversion work et al. equally, would not imagine they'd miss that date, or if they do - not by much. my take would be somewhere in w/e 15th Dec. steve | ![]() sll
06/12/2006 18:04 | gj - I really don't know. Will see if I can find out. | ![]() sll
05/12/2006 09:03 | SLL do you think we will get results this week? | ![]() gjabrj
28/11/2006 10:01 | and another 150k at 3.5p this morning, ....interesting! | ![]() sll
27/11/2006 17:27 | The T suggests to me someone is builing a stake, hoovering all the shares avaiable at the given price, the questions is how much have they to spent and how high are they willing to go. We will find out over the coming weeks. | ![]() gjabrj
27/11/2006 16:58 | gj - another 3 small steps in the right direction today - all buys at 3.5p - being 150k, 150k and 100k. | ![]() sll
26/11/2006 15:37 | Lets hope the stake builder keeps building. | ![]() gjabrj
24/11/2006 18:02 | That's a further 100k at 3.25p and 250k at 3.5p - all quite positive to close the week, and indicative of the presently crazy pricing here. As to the pending interims, am expecting no fireworks given the switch to IFRS revenue recognition, allied to the recent Rippon slowness. Longer term, still feel cautiously positive despite the obvious near term reasons not to be. | ![]() sll
24/11/2006 17:04 | Two T trades? looking interesting for a change, has someone seen the interims? | ![]() gjabrj
24/11/2006 12:28 | Wonder if we get another T trade at the end of the day? | ![]() gjabrj
23/11/2006 21:56 | and a further 250k today at 3.25p, which is not surprising given the discount to TNAV of circa 43% (to mid-pricing on this crazy spread). | ![]() sll
23/11/2006 10:02 | 400k buy at 3.15p y'day - smart move by someone. | ![]() sll

22/11/2006 10:53 | Bylow Perhaps you could give some examples - THUS is one share where consolidation may have helped the share price. | ![]() shawzie
21/11/2006 18:44 | shawie.....share consolidation for an unloved stock is often the kiss of death, best left alone. | bylow
21/11/2006 16:04 | Perhaps a share consolidation (say 50 for 1) might help to improve the image of ART in the City and take it out of the "penny share" category. However, with so many small shareholders it might be considered too costly an exercise. | ![]() shawzie
21/11/2006 09:28 | I'm waiting until the interims, then if no good news I'll dump my 350,000 shares and draw a line under this one. My worst ever buy, back in 2001. | ![]() gjabrj
21/11/2006 09:21 | When it comes to ART I feel completely powerless, helpless. What does one do! SELL and invest somewhere else or HOLD hoping that there is an increase in the share price and the board decide to pay a small dividend. | ![]() loganair
21/11/2006 07:58 | Like Bylow said - just spin. Why doesn't Stevens admit he is running this for his and not our benefit. Longer term it makes more sense for him to recieve capital growth rather than regular income, this way he weakens the share price ready to top up his holding waiting for a bid or an underpriced MBO (just my opinion !!). As you know Aim share are an attractive holding for tax reasons. I still question why he paid was it 11p per share to gain control ? | gizzimodo
20/11/2006 10:44 | Bylow - I e-mailed Michael Stevens with my concerns and have just received this reply from Chris Musselle. > > > Dear Mr Pawley, Thank you for your email addressed to Mr Stevens. May I first say that the entire Board of Artisan is disappointed in the share price of Artisan despite the performance of the Group over recent years. The Board regularly considers whether paying a dividend is appropriate. To date the view has been that we should conserve funds to invest in land for future growth. This is gradually being achieved, but alas not yet recognised in the share price. The independent Non-Executives, in particular, are well aware of the point you and other shareholders make concerning dividends and will continue to make decisions with due regard to all shareholders and their interests. 19/11/2006 04:02 | Bylow - I have just written to Michael Stevens, I turst he'll actually reply. If and when he does I'll most certainly post his reply on this thread. | ![]() loganair
18/11/2006 22:20 | loganair.....try writing (by email if you wish) addressing your concerns specifically to Michael Stevens rather than Chris Musselle( he will just give you the usual spin) and let us know if you hear back from him. | bylow
18/11/2006 04:04 | shawzie, like many I have to work for a living and have had no time to attened any of the ART AGM's. If the Chairman of ART ever reads these posts, the situation with ART share price and No Dividend can not just carry on and on. I can remember the days when ART share price was 25p, 3p is a silly price which well undervalues ART. Chairman please either SELL ART or Management Buy Out so us share holders can put our investment in ART to better use. | ![]() loganair |
