It is difficult to tell how seriously we should take AR.
I have just watched its 3 minute video on the THAL web-site again.
I do believe that the sea-bed is likely to attract an enormous amount of exploration for one purpose or another in coming years but the Flying Nodes seem to designed for underwater mineral exploration. Extraction of any minerals found prove politically difficult.

AR must be running at a loss and i guess we will find out what that is
is it just a fantasy company or have they got the ability to make it work
i hope it is not just a pay packet for those involved
sticking with because of the discount

I see more good news here than bad.
The price agreed with Fairfield (FFN) for WGP was US$30 million of which $10m was "contingent on certain customer contracts being entered into within 5 years of completion".
It sounds as if FFN is finding WGP a satisfactory purchase but we cannot, of course, be sure that this condition will be satisfied.
On the other hand we were led to expect that FFN had decided to invest $2m in a 20% stake in Autonomous Robotics whereas it transpires now that this was only an intention which FFN has now given up.
I continue to regard Mr. Soukup as a shrewd investor and would not be surprised to see a sale of ARL to some big underwater operator such as Technip if he cannot arrange a joint venture on attractive terms.

From what I can see Braintree Ltd is an AI company

Most likely to do with the recent sale I imagine.

JMF, isn't he a director of Baintree Ltd which I think is an O&G strategic consultancy.

As you imply JMF69, it is surprising that we have still not yet had confirmation of conclusion.

You can buy at 83p this morning and nav is reckoned at £1.37 with 30p+ contingent proceeds on top.

Soukup holds 17% so aligned with shareholders. Ok, it depends on them finding the right acquisition at the right price but seems very cheap to me.

Should now be viewed as investment holding company as they will have little in way on ongoing business in terms of turnover in current form.

Significant assets on top of cash holdings of 76ppsThey have 80% holding in Autonomous Robotics where FFN recently purchased 20% interest for $2m... giving their post raise holding $8m value.Close to £6m. =30p ppsThey have 20.8m shares in LSR At market 31p -£6.45m though LSR nav 42p and are currently liquidating their property assets...if the LSR management do a decent job should get at least 37-38p distribution later this year so hopefully will achieve £7.8m which would be close to 40pps.They also have conditional earn out on WGP disposal as mentioned.
