Seems to have settled down here. Perhaps a new base before the next leg up? Certainly hope so.

Sick dog who runs this company like his own personal fiefdom needs to concentrate on shareholder returns, which he most likely believes he is good at, but his previous track record leaves a lot to be desired, needs to stop frittering company cash and ensure that any external investments will see a return, not that ridiculous investment in Papua, the market will never rate this company accordingly if you have an unpredictable, vainglorious chief at the helm!

We already know them, don't we JMF? He's announced the headline numbers twice. If you wanted to put on a negative spin, then you could argue that the second time he announced the expected WGP trading, it was a profits warning (albeit a very small one), since there were no new contracts to be undertaken in 2017 other than the CP and Statoil contracts about which we already knew. Regardless, we should still have a market cap which is equivalent to our LSR shares and our cash with everything else thrown in for SFA.

The other half of the trade should declare today. Let's see who is. Who knows could even be an activist shareholder.

As I said on BILN board, I think Henderson have lost an investment mandate which has passed to the management of Lombard. So a portfolio of stock have been transferred en masse.

Or maybe they're anticipating a lot of buying interest after the results?

I'm a bit worried that the broker has taken most of Henderson's holding to help fulfill the share buyback programme. Bit speculative but you never know.

Could be Henderson are re-aligning their portfolio, similar has just been RNS'd at BILN

So, Henderson are below 5% (as I read it). They were previously over 10%

The question is why? And who bought? Because they will also have to declare

I really hope DS takes us private, at a premium, obviously!

frazboy,

I don't have a position, and was tempted, but DS is too much of a maverick to me. LSR was a good purchase...but not at the price he paid. If he makes those sorts of errors of judgment he is not for me.

I think he will still make a profit, and hopefully a decent sized one.

The next LSR lot on today's auction went for 161k v 90k guide!

Thanks tilton. Do you have a position here? LSR is worth almost 50% of the market cap these days, which makes it look v cheap. I'm not sure what news flow or event is required to realise the value but the share buyback will help

LSR have sold two properties so far today in the Acuitus auction for a combined £781k v the 550k guide prices.
