So, Henderson are below 5% (as I read it). They were previously over 10%

The question is why? And who bought? Because they will also have to declare

I really hope DS takes us private, at a premium, obviously!

frazboy,

I don't have a position, and was tempted, but DS is too much of a maverick to me. LSR was a good purchase...but not at the price he paid. If he makes those sorts of errors of judgment he is not for me.

I think he will still make a profit, and hopefully a decent sized one.

The next LSR lot on today's auction went for 161k v 90k guide!

Thanks tilton. Do you have a position here? LSR is worth almost 50% of the market cap these days, which makes it look v cheap. I'm not sure what news flow or event is required to realise the value but the share buyback will help

LSR have sold two properties so far today in the Acuitus auction for a combined £781k v the 550k guide prices.

Anyone think we may have reached the bottom here? Another way of phrasing this question is, is anyone else on this board thinking of unloading at this price?

Thank you for the information Masurenguy. I did have a quick look back and could not find CT but I did not check that far back! A new thread may be worth the effort if someone is more heavily invested and committed here than I am. Seems like a link to the company's website is just basic common sense really, but that may just be me!

LSR - Looks interesting. DS may not be all that crazy, only when it comes to holes in the ground?

LSR continue to make progress on the liquidation of their portfolio.

Looks like some particularly good sales in Allsop's auction yesterday raising over £2m.

Lauders - ur correct, but DS. is the boss here, Thal is a holding co. , but he is the force driving the company, there is no real board here, except at the subsidiary level, it does not need a board thank goodness, one more extra expense!

Lauders - contrarian trader hasn't posted here in 8 years so I doubt that your request will be addressed.

Thanks for that link JMF69. I assume that THAL will benefit further from these plans down the line.

bookbroker - While most would probably agree about DS's activities and comments (he does go rather OTT) surely THAL's board - - should be the ones who control him and approve/disapprove of any "projects/expenses"? Does he make all the decisions without anyone checking? I can't believe that is the case but would welcome any corrections to my understanding!

PS - contrarian trader - Any chance of having THAL's website link added to the header somewhere please?

Because Mas., this co. has a good product, a decent balance sheet, but it is being run by a guy who is hubristic, he should concentrate the co. on the industry it knows, not commercial property or gold prospecting!
