04/4/2017 09:35 | Could be Henderson are re-aligning their portfolio, similar has just been RNS'd at BILN | pj 1
04/4/2017 09:32 | So, Henderson are below 5% (as I read it). They were previously over 10% hxxp://thalassaholdi The question is why? And who bought? Because they will also have to declare I really hope DS takes us private, at a premium, obviously! | frazboy
30/3/2017 15:21 | frazboy, I don't have a position, and was tempted, but DS is too much of a maverick to me. LSR was a good purchase...but not at the price he paid. If he makes those sorts of errors of judgment he is not for me. I think he will still make a profit, and hopefully a decent sized one. The next LSR lot on today's auction went for 161k v 90k guide! | tiltonboy
30/3/2017 14:33 | Thanks tilton. Do you have a position here? LSR is worth almost 50% of the market cap these days, which makes it look v cheap. I'm not sure what news flow or event is required to realise the value but the share buyback will help | frazboy
30/3/2017 14:06 | LSR have sold two properties so far today in the Acuitus auction for a combined £781k v the 550k guide prices. | tiltonboy
30/3/2017 13:26 | Tax year coming to an end. Maybe using the cgt allowance?? | jmf69
30/3/2017 13:14 | Never say "can't" ;-) | lauders
30/3/2017 12:21 | Can't be many more idiot sellers surely ???? | basem1
29/3/2017 14:38 | I added last week fwiw :-) | cheshire man
29/3/2017 14:37 | Thanks RCT! Being dim as predicted! | lauders
29/3/2017 14:34 | Decided not to wait and added another 10,500. | basem1
29/3/2017 14:28 | new tax year | rcturner2
29/3/2017 14:21 | 6th April? Probably being dim here, but what is the occasion? | lauders
29/3/2017 14:18 | i Agree basem, ive just bought a few. gla | 100egs
29/3/2017 13:47 | I'd be topping up here, or at least on the 6th April | basem1
29/3/2017 07:51 | Unloading no... topping up maybe | jmf69
29/3/2017 07:36 | Anyone think we may have reached the bottom here? Another way of phrasing this question is, is anyone else on this board thinking of unloading at this price? | frazboy
29/3/2017 00:53 | Thank you for the information Masurenguy. I did have a quick look back and could not find CT but I did not check that far back! A new thread may be worth the effort if someone is more heavily invested and committed here than I am. Seems like a link to the company's website is just basic common sense really, but that may just be me! LSR - Looks interesting. DS may not be all that crazy, only when it comes to holes in the ground? | lauders
28/3/2017 09:50 | LSR continue to make progress on the liquidation of their portfolio. Looks like some particularly good sales in Allsop's auction yesterday raising over £2m. | tiltonboy
28/3/2017 08:49 | Lauders - ur correct, but DS. is the boss here, Thal is a holding co. , but he is the force driving the company, there is no real board here, except at the subsidiary level, it does not need a board thank goodness, one more extra expense! | bookbroker
28/3/2017 08:02 | Maybe time for a new thread? | rcturner2
28/3/2017 06:43 | Lauders - contrarian trader hasn't posted here in 8 years so I doubt that your request will be addressed. | masurenguy
28/3/2017 01:17 | Thanks for that link JMF69. I assume that THAL will benefit further from these plans down the line. bookbroker - While most would probably agree about DS's activities and comments (he does go rather OTT) surely THAL's board - - should be the ones who control him and approve/disapprove of any "projects/expenses"? Does he make all the decisions without anyone checking? I can't believe that is the case but would welcome any corrections to my understanding! PS - contrarian trader - Any chance of having THAL's website link added to the header somewhere please? | lauders
27/3/2017 20:32 | Because Mas., this co. has a good product, a decent balance sheet, but it is being run by a guy who is hubristic, he should concentrate the co. on the industry it knows, not commercial property or gold prospecting! | bookbroker |
