14/3/2017 16:46 | There will be a quote in there on the oil markets, one on Brexit and probably Sturgeon and her new Indyref. Dunc will probably have something to say on that Pie Eating goalkeeper who lost his job and the shocking news that the next series of Game of Thrones only having 7 episodes too. | greenroom78
14/3/2017 16:33 | Stop whittering, the way the oil price is going this will probably fall back, you'll get any news art results, why question the announcements, a cynic might suggest there was a caveat in that statement on the basis of the oil market heading south, and that right now things are ok, but will they be in six months! | bookbroker
14/3/2017 16:07 | And they could have updated us on the release of any further reserves, if there is to be any, all in one go | jmf69
14/3/2017 15:38 | I'm unsure as the reason for today's announcement. In December they estimated rev of $15m for 2017, today $15m-$16m. Such a minor change could have waited until results in April. Certainly not been short of trading updates of late. | cockerhoop
14/3/2017 15:28 | Not such a great reaction considering the financials given above by a few holders here. Perhaps a delayed action the rest of this week? | lauders
14/3/2017 14:23 | Positive news this morning.... onwards and upwards :-) | cheshire man
14/3/2017 14:10 | This co. had $7.7m cash at the year end plus a stake worth around £5m in LSR. So about £11m plus a bit of a PNG gold mine, plus a few other things. So WGP which this year is due to make more than $2m profit on in excess of $15m turnover is valued by the stock market at £2 million odd ? One might think WGP alone is worth more than the current market cap ? | gfrae
14/3/2017 09:48 | Lol. Yes, good company with loads of cash, good earnings, some shops, a bag of magic beans and one loose cannon. | greenroom78
14/3/2017 09:45 | rivaldo, we're trying to forget about the papua investment | frazboy
14/3/2017 09:16 | Excellent 2017 update today. Worth remembering that the m/cap is still only £14m, with an almost $8m cash pile plus the LSR and Papua investments. | rivaldo
14/3/2017 08:24 | Thanks, wasn't sure if there was a small window. | greenroom78
14/3/2017 08:20 | It's a closed period | frazboy
14/3/2017 08:18 | Can they resume buybacks now or is it still a closed period until after the results? | greenroom78
14/3/2017 08:04 | Encouraging news indeed :-) | cheshire man
14/3/2017 08:03 | It's 7-10% more than previously reported in January. | basem1
14/3/2017 07:53 | A 30-40% increase in revenue for 2017 over 2016 is what we wanted to hear. Great news. | rcturner2
14/3/2017 07:17 | Upto to an additional 1m for the current year | jmf69
13/3/2017 14:11 | Results due in 3 weeks or so, best we can perhaps hope for is further PRM contracts and no other activity. Here's hoping. I wonder if there's any hope Soukip might buy the company, he treats it like it's his own anyway - I'd take 80p. | frazboy
11/3/2017 20:18 | I bought 50k at 40p. | rcturner2
10/3/2017 13:19 | I top sliced 10k at 66p and 10k at 71p so I am left with 30k currently. | rcturner2
10/3/2017 13:10 | I'm out for the time being. It's been a good run. | columbarius
09/3/2017 11:14 | he will start buying in back in a few weeks. Assuming their NAV calculations are similar to the previous numbers. I wonder what the threshold is: continue with buybacks if the share price is below NAV, or 90% of, etc? | frazboy
09/3/2017 10:39 | Fundamentally nothing has changed for Thal. | jmf69 |
