18/3/2015 16:38 | from Malcy's daily blog - A brief statement from Thalassa today who have had a hard time lately as not only has the oil price hit it hard but sanctions against Russia hit part of its market. The company has seen a good level of order enquiries and it has even made two data sales this year worth $1.6m. The company says that trading is ‘challenging&r | speedsgh
18/3/2015 14:29 | Kooba, I think you're missing my point, in 2014 the final results were released on 20th March. This year on 18th March they release a statement saying that they are going to release results in early June because they need to write down some assets. I'm speculating that they intended to release the results at the normal time but in consultation (or worse) with the auditors they are going to delay release by 10 weeks to allow further work to be done. | cockerhoop
18/3/2015 08:53 | Would I be right to assume that the auditors are reluctant to sign off the accounts until the carrying value of the assets are suitably written down causing the 3 month delay in issuing the finals this year? | cockerhoop
18/3/2015 07:42 | Not much news in the results. Enterprise value is still negative, just, with cash position Jun 14 $21.2m Nov 14 $15m Mar 15 $16.4m if they can maintain the cash balance the downside risk here is low and the upside is poised on any hint of recovery or new contract. | sasannach
